Cilantro Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Berry Hill

I wanna start off by saying I am in the food industry. I know that it is not the waitresses fault on how food is prepared. my husband and I always sit at the bar when the guy’s bartending never had a problem the New female bartender. I’ve had nothing but problems and any time we come in my husband sees her. He instantly says let’s go so with that being said I’ve worked a eight hour shift today. I was tired. I was hot and I was hungry. I ordered a double shot. He told her to give him a few minutes let him figure out what he wanted. He told her he was ready for his order. and he gave his. I asked her if I could get the lunch special I know I would have to pay more. She said no you can get this and you can change it and that is what I did. When I received my order, it was not correct so I said something I asked for another double shot and when the rest of my food was brought out, it was completely not correct. I said this is the Chalupa and I have one taco When I ordered two tacos and no chalupa My husband went to fist bump her, and she shrugged him off, looking Nasty towards him when he said we know it’s not your fault then the night manager or whoever she was showed up I explained to her what I ordered, and she went back to the kitchen only brought back one taco set it down on the counter and told us we needed to leave because we were harassing the waitress. she doesn’t need to be on the bar because she cannot maintain the bar. She gives wrong Or inaccurate things out and when you ask her about it, she gets nasty.. I shouldn’t have to sit there with my food, getting cold, waiting on the rest of my food. I was never rude never harassed. I have been going to this restaurant with the exception of the last three months at least twice a week for the last year I have never felt so downgraded and abused as I did tonight trying to have dinner after I’ve worked an ...

The customer service was below sub-par, especially considering my visits to similar restaurants! Since it was a friend's birthday, we decided to come and try a new spot... never again. We waited a decent amount of time to be seated (about 20-25 mins) and taken to the a table that did not seat the amount of people we told them (1st issue). Luckily there was a small empty table next to us, so that issue was easily solved. A waiter took our drink orders and after a nice lil minute, he brought our drinks... one of our party brought to his attention that it was the incorrect sized drink...which the waiter was the one that showed her the jumbo size.. but the waiter became defensive and wanted to argue that she didn't ask for a jumbo (2nd issue). The waiter's disposition from that point on bordered disrespectful/ having an attitude to just not putting any effort forth for anything. We noticed at about 8:30pm (we arrived at 7pm and were seated by 7:30) that our food order still hadn't arrived. Although they DID have a sign posted that they were somewhat short staffed, we noticed that MANY guest had arrived AFTER us but had received their food. Once a member of our party spoke with the manager, to inquire the status of the food we had been waiting literally an hour for (3rd issue), 2 mins later it "suddenly" was ready and brought to the table. NONE OF OUR FOOD...not one person's... was hot off grill... it was warm but not hot. When brought to the manger's attention, she tried to lie to our faces and tell it just came out (4th issue). I will not only never return to this place, but I will make it my business to inform everyone about the awful service there, which is...

Unfortunately this was the worst restaurant experience and the worst food I've had in Nashville. I came with 7 friends and they all agreed. A few of us got margaritas and there were little dead flies in one so we sent it back. Another friend ordered one and there were flies in hers too, even after we sent the first one back. Though the waitress brought us plenty of chips and salsa (which was okay.. Chips were bland, salsa seemed like only tomato but was alright), it took an hour to get our order. Once we ordered it took another hour to get our food. It wasnt even that busy (it was a Sunday night). The music was also super loud we couldn't hear what anyone in our party was saying because we were by the speaker. The volume knob was close to us so we turned it down just a little, and someone from the staff came over and turned it up louder! Eventually we asked another waiter if he could turn it down and he was friendly about it. My friends each got different chimichangas, a shrimp dish, a salad, chicken and rice, etc. and it all came at different times, and they were all bad.. Very bland except for my spinach chimichanga which tasted like it was cooked in salt water. Beans tasted as if straight from a can, rice was dry and flavorless, it was awful! I couldn't eat more than a few bites. We all agreed we'd never come back. We are not snobby people by any means, it was just THAT bad. The waitress took a very long time to bring us our checks as well and overall it was just a very poor experience. Ive worked in restaurants for years and I can't understand how...
