PLEASE READ I am not a person to usually write reviews however, my appalling experience with this establishment definitely deserves a warning for anyone thinking about choosing this place. I visited Nashville for the weekend and after returning back to my resort I asked for suggestions for food places that were open. They suggested this place because they have delivered to the resort before. I called and placed an order to be delivered to my resort, and all seemed normal until my food never arrived. With it being so late and approaching their closing time I fell asleep and called the next day. Before calling I checked with the front desk who will call the room down because they do not let deliveries on any room levels, whom told me that no one ever came to the resort for my room.
I called Dolce Vita's during the day and was told by the guy answering the phone that I would have better luck calling after 10pm, since that would be when the manager from the night before would be in. I called shortly after 10pm and explained to the "Manager" that I had not gotten my order from the previous night and asked if they would either refund my card or deliver a remake. The "Manager" said that his delivery driver left it outside of my room. After I explained that anyone using the elevator would need a room key he said "then they must have left it at the desk". Which I knew not to be true, and once I told him my desk did not take any pizza he began to raise his voice at me and yell that I am lying and hung up on me. I tried to call back a couple of times to which they continued to put me immediately on hold. I had to use my fiancé's phone to get someone to answer. I spoke with the man whom earlier claimed to be a manager to find out he is not the manager and called the owner who said they would not be taking care of me at all.
This may be a big review just for a pizza establishment however, I have been a Manager in the customer service industry for over 9 years and have never been treated like this nor seen this from any other establishment. I feel as if my request was truly a valid request and that the people working here are rude, disrespectful, and incompetent to even know where their deliveries are going and definitely do not know if they make it there. After just attempting to order a single pizza I had to deal with over 1 1/2 of frustration, and dispute this fraudulent charge with my bank.    Read moreNever order from here. The driver dropped my order off at the wrong address even while I was waiting outside in the rain trying to describe where I was. Instead of staying on the phone and making sure he handed my order to me directly, he just dropped it off in front of someones door. Then left. I sent him pictures of the cars in front of my place. When I called the driver he blamed me for telling him the wrong car in front of my place and said he just dropped it off and someone opened the door and took the food. I told him it wasnât me. After arguing and cursing at me he told me to cancel it on door dash. This was very suspicious he would tell me to cancel it on door dash if he felt that he delivered the food and his manager backed him up saying that âmy driver said he delivered the food so we will not do anything about itâ. What ever happened to the customer being right? I was not unreasonable, i waited in the rain, hungry after not eating all day at work and I was still charged $30. I felt so unimportant. Which is a shame because I used to order from there no matter where I was staying downtown Nashville. They have not only lost a loyal customer but now a big supporter of the restaurant who always recommended them to others for the food. I am appalled that this is the level of service and treatment that I would get as a hungry human. I have seen stray animals on the street treated better. There are a number of people who have ordered from doordash that has had their orders stolen.
