I have been a faithful customer of Kingdom Cafe and have been purchasing food from there at least weekly for years. I also have had 2 family members work there. I recently became handicap and just started venturing out on my electric wheelchair. As a matter of fact this was only my second outing using it.I was so happy to be able to go and pick out my own meal. I never thought that I would be humiliated by Harold Love Jr. himself. I accidentally hit the wall with my wheelchair and put and hole in it. I apologized but Harold Jr acted as if I did it on purpose. I told him this was only 2 time using my wheelchair. He kept going on and on about who was going to pay for the repairs. I couldn't understand stand why he was ranting on about this after he said no apology necessary. Also isn't this why you have property insurance. Not realizing who my husband and I were, he asked him loud enough for all the other customers to hear if he knew anyone who could fix the wall.Later my husband said that Harold Jr recogonzied him and offered to apologize to me but he told him no, it was to late. Harold Jrs behavior made me feel uncomfortable and as a newly handicap person I would not venture into Kingdom Cafe ever again. The lack of customer service for someone handicap is truly disappointing. You have lost faithful customers that will no longer recommend...
Read moreTried this place on Super Bowl Sunday and while the cashier was super sweet and polite this plate is HORRID. Please stop selling dressing, this mess is mushy and NO FLAVOR, these greens are also tragic with no real flavor, this meat loaf I have to drown in hot sauce just to get it down because nothing else is open and I spent $20 on a plate I can’t even finish. Please take these reviews to heart about your flavors. I saw some comment talking about he from the Mississippi Delta and he doubled back for some more dressing and all I can say is he ain’t got no tastebuds and ALL my ancestors, ( I am Mississippi Born and raised) would have cussed him from here to yonder telling that BOLD FACE LIE about it tasting like a Delta Grandmother made it. You could have kept that. Again your server was super nice and sweet but NO WONDER it was 6 going on 7 when I pulled up and MOST of their food was still unsold and they close at 8. I’ll eat a peanut butter and jelly and SAND sandwich before I spend...
Read moreKingdom Café is one of those rare spots where food, culture, and community all come together. I had the chance to be a guest vendor during their Monday Night Jazz series, and it was an unforgettable experience.
They’re pushing a powerful campaign to revive the soul of historic Jefferson Street, bringing back the days when music thrived, culture was alive, and people gathered for connection. Local artists perform everything from classic covers to original songs, creating a vibe that feels both nostalgic and fresh.
From a business perspective, this is an amazing opportunity to network, collaborate, and meet other creatives. From a personal perspective, the atmosphere is full of style, positive energy, and genuine people. And of course — the food is on point.
If you’re looking for great eats, authentic culture, and a chance to experience Nashville’s true soul, Kingdom Café is the place to...
