Horrible. I wasn’t there even 10 mins when a man walked in talking to everyone and then sat behind me to conduct business on his phone. If that wasn’t bad enough, he dictated texts to random people loudly. Even with noise cancelling headphones on I could still hear him. I asked the librarian if there was any other space that I could go to focus and he pointed in the back. I said well I can still hear him there (it’s a very small library), is this normal behavior in a library? He said “I will talk to him”. He walked up to him like he was in a scary movie. It didn’t work and the loud guy kept voice texting and clicking ring tones, so I packed up my things and left. It’s a nice place to have for folks to come surf the net, or apparently to conduct business and dictate voice texts, but check this place off your list if you want a quiet place to study. Read moreThis location is very distracting with those mentally challenged adults and homeless people that distract other patrons from doing their work. The library staff don’t correct most of them. That other library staff the taller black lady corrects but not the other staff. I had to actually get up and move to another computer because of one distraction and then I encountered another distraction from another patron. I ended up leaving and going to another branch. This is unacceptable. There are some people that come to the library for productive purposes and not have the leisure to be there just looking at videos and playing games like most of those people that are jobless and waiting on a crazy check...
