Been here twice. The first time we got carry out I had spaghetti Rose had white sauce pasta and Aaron had a pizza. The spaghetti was ok pasta was cooked perfectly the sauce was a little Bland could have used some more Italian seasonings. The white sauce pasta was perfectly cooked and rose said the sauce was very good. Aaron's pizza had a nice crust a decent amount of toppings and nicely browned cheese he said it was a bit Bland and neither the pepperoni or the sausage were very sharp. Over all compared to some of the other pizza in the hermitage area it was better than some we've had. As a side note they we had the cannoli and the lemonchello cake and both were exelent. Our second visit was just Rose and I we decided to give them another try dine in dinning in gave us some insight as to why the food was only ok and a little Bland. We were seated fairly quickly by the guy at the cash register with menus at a table of two tables for 2 pushed together and he left to go work the cash register. About 5 minutes later a girl (seemed like she was supposed to be the actual waitress) dropped off two plastic glasses and straws and left with no explanation. Looking at the menus we figured out why the glasses were left at the table they have a very small self serve fountain station with free refills for 2.75 that had nothing we wanted. We had now been seated over 10 minites watching the 2 pizza guys one making pies and the other working the ovens while the girl stood talking to and watching the guy working the register. At this point there were only two tables dining in and one was leaving so we were the only diners there. So now we've been seated for a little over 15 minutes we have not yet been waited on while the waitress has been watching the cash register guy work and wandering around talking to the pizza oven guy and roaming around the back kitchen area. The line at the carryout register ended and the guy came over and took our drink order Rose had a lemon water and I had ice tea both bottled out of their cooler in the corner he got and brought our drinks and then he took our orders. Hoping for more flavorful food instead of just pasta and plain sauce I ordered spaghetti with extra charge meat sauce and extra charge meatballs and Rose ordered fruitdemar and a salad both meals come with garlic knots. 5 minites later the waitresses brought the salad and the garlic knots out and huffed oh I thought he left plates and went and got us a couple of plates and silverware and left to go back and talk to the guy at the cash register again. The garlic knots came in nice baskets so we really didn't need the plates so we put those on the other table along with the unused glasses. We finished the garlic knots and Rose finished her salad and a few minutes later the guy at the cash register had finished again so the waitress went to the kitchen and brought out our food it was warm but not hot so it had obviously been sitting waiting for at least a little while, while she was standing around talking she had to ask who got what because she had no clue dropped off the food without so much as a do you need anything else and went back to talking to the cash register guy and the pizza guy. We ate our meals decided to take some home so we had room for desert we sat at the table with leftover off to the side obviously finished and waited it became a little bit of a game waiting to see how long it would take before the waitress bothered to see if we wanted anything else she had never come back to see if everything was ok or if we needed drink refills or anything she dropped off the food and stood around talking with her back to the dining room. We gave it 15 minutes and I finally walked up the the register and interrupted her to tell them we wanted two pieces of lemonchello cake. I watched her take the two pieces out of the cooler and walk back to the kitchen about 10 minutes later she brought them to the table we had to ask for new forks and waited another 5 minutes for the forks. When we finished we got containers for...
Read moreSo I went there for food. I paid $72 for my meal and my significant other's meal. I had got the Cajun shrimp alfredo with double shrimp, mushrooms and onions. My girlfriend's food was good, order wise however, my food was not Cajun. I had to add Tony seasoning to make it Cajun, it had four shrimps in it and unless four means double it was wrong. It had the mushrooms. No onions. So I called in and I told them about it. The nice guy at the desk said hey. We messed up. Here's a credit for another meal. It lasts for 30 days. Just call in and tell them your name and we'll take care of it fine. So I just got through calling the people, and the manager said hey you got a $6 credit.I'm like what are you talking about? He says they gave you a $6 credit for the extra shrimp, you have to paid for the rest of the meal. I said sir I already paid full price. Yesterday and still didn't get to eat it. Why am I paying full price again? He said because they only gave you a $6 credit for the extra shrimp. Why would you only give me $6 credit for extra shrimp if my whole order is wrong? Doesn't make sense. I said not only was the shrimp wrong my whole food was wrong. The guy at the desk yesterday said that I was going to be able to get the whole meal redone. Now I did not eat the meal that I had first got. It was a whole complicated situation about that. But anyway the guy was like no. You need to pay for a whole another meal and then I take $6 off of that. It didn't make sense why I had to pay for another meal, if 1. Y'all messed up 2. I didn't even get to eat it 3. The guy said I would be able to get the right order redone. I thought it was going to be easy guess not. The guy said he was the manager, too. So I just picked up my food that was supposed to be made right. It is still not Cajun, it still doesn't have any mushrooms, it still doesn't have any onions. I don't know what's going on with this place but it seems like you need...
Read moreHold on, someone just said this place is equal to frozen pizza........no..... I've had pizza in New York, from places using a wood fire oven, and have tasted the best rated pizza places in at least 5 cities. An Italian (im irish) man doesn't burn his cheese he melts it. The bottom of the pizza gets scortched (not burnt) to make a crispy bottom on the pie. The slice is large and that pie's thinly hand tossed dough is crispy enough to hold the cheese for a few min when it comes to the table (steam takes over afterward and makes it droop but that is normal). The house salad vinaigrette is better than olive garden (Again, I apologize I'm Irish).... and when I ordered the classic margherita pizza, A Tupperware container came out behind the counter with fresh herbs. I have met people who do not know good pizza. This is not pizza hut. There is no BBQ sauce, and weird american sht. They don't pump sprays of oil all over it so it tastes fried. It definitely does not taste of frozen pizza that is a grievous insult.... and the owners were kind and just took it. The pie's sauce seems to be closer to a classic Itallian, instead of an American Italian pizza. It's not as robust/salty. That is my only complaint, but I would never ask them to change it. Thats what pizza is supposed to taste like. As far as speed they have a few pizzas premade for the lunch crowd if you need a quick lunch spot. Grazie di tutto for the good pizza sal, and thanks for being at a price point where I can enjoy the food more often. Benvenuto nella...
