La Michoacana Ice Cream Shop — Restaurant in National City

If I could give no stars I would. First they seem as they don’t want to be there which isn’t the customer’s fault. First and most important ordered a mangonada and was sitting in the shop eating it and there was a big piece of plastic in the ice cream!. Went to let them know about it they were going to add that same mango ice cream so asked if could change the flavor for another they said no it had to be that mango one that had a big chunck of hard white plastic in it! Worst service ever this shop doesn’t care if they kill ppl! Never going back again sucks now instead of walking here will walk to the other place going towards Manolo where they don’t serve plastic in the ice cream and value customer’s and don’t act like the customer is wrong for wanting a different ice cream that doesn’t have plastic. I was there yesterday, the place had great reviews and it did have a large line. Unfortunately my experience was very bad! They had 2 employees and the service was super slow, they were out of several items including agua de frutas which is what I wanted to try, I ordered a fruit salad paid over $15 and it wasn’t fully packed, you could easily fit a lot more, the second order was cucumber, watermelon and mango with no chamoy and I didn’t realize they added chamoy until I got home! That was also very scarce and to make matters worse they gave me a very small side of granola and wanted to charge an extra $1😡. Bad experience will not return, nor recommend this place to friends or family. I hope the owner looks into what they are doing with his place, I heard they started doing great and many agreed that they are not keeping up with...

Ice cream is SO good I love, fair price, places always so clean, customer service is wonderful, until recently at this location. All employees are great, even though they sometimes ignore customers that are waiting there and they serve someone that just walked in before helping me. Everyone is usually great, everyone but the manager Mayra. I have a complain about her. She was so childish and unprofessional, that I ended up going home shaking from the anger. The date was 3/21/22. She offers TERRIBLE customer service. When I asked to speak to the manager, she said it was her, walked away as I'm still talking to her, laughed as she headed to the back. WTH?! I need somebody to reach out because that was beyond unprofessional, I was and still am very upset about that. I understand if I was rude to any employee, but I was not...
