Pizza Grande — Restaurant in National City

Picked up a large pepperoni pizza for my wife and I. Small place with the same friendly faces working every time I go in. Their phone wasn't working, so I had to walk in to order, but they make their pizzas in 10 minutes.

Food has always been tasty.

Location is not in the best part of town. As I was looking at the combo menu, two men who had clearly come in together were sitting and waiting for their orders. They whispered to each other while looking at me, and the older man asked me if I had ever been to San Quentin, because I apparently looked like someone he knew.

Also, right outside, two guys were making the most obvious and awkward drug deal I've ever seen.

Lock your doors, pick up your order quickly, and avoid making conversation with anyone standing outside the restaurant.

I placed an order for a large pizza over the phone and the guy at the cash register told me it'll be ready in 10-15 minutes and he was right!! :DD I was pleased with the customer service. When I got there 5-min or so after calling, I paid while waiting and a large pizza was a total of $8.69 (including tax). When I ate it at home, the pizza was very good!!! It has the perfect amount of all the classic ingredients!! The dough is out of this world! Stopped by on a Monday evening cause the $5 1-topping pizza got me. First time there, ordered a pepperoni pizza. Mmmmm.....!!!! The baked dough was the best part of this pizza, and I'm not really a bread guy, more of a cheese guy. Fast service and the pizza was hot and greasy, just the way I like it.
