We had been here a few times over the last year or so. Either the last time or the time before the beans were extremely runny, like liquid bean soup runny. I figured it was just made poorly that day but at that point I wasn’t super excited to come back. The family wanted to try it tonight. We were seated quickly but the guy walks with us, sets the menus in a stack on the table and walks away. We all stand there trying to decide if that meant sit down or maybe he was going to find a towel or something. Eventually we sit. He walks up with two extra silverware sets, puts them down and walks away. Just a strange way to start the service I guess. Not a word. Eventually he comes to take our order, no pad to write but hey, if he can remember our order whatever. I order a #15, a burrito and a taco. Our food gets there and right away I can see water or something next to the beans. I figure maybe when they throw the plates in the oven or when they take the plates out in the morning something was frozen. I don’t know, it wasn’t worth complaining about. I then notice I got an enchilada and taco, color me shocked the old “don’t worry I’ll remember” didn’t work. I eat about half the enchilada cause I the other part is buried under the taco and lettuce. I had to scrape each bite off the plate which is just lovely. Now it’s time for the taco, I go to pick it up and the entire middle is completely wet and the bottom opens and everything falls out. I’m now holding two halves of a taco shell with nothing in it. How in gods name that much liquid gets on a plate I’ll never know. Needless to say that was clearly the last time I’ll set foot in that building. It really isn’t that hard to be welcoming, polite, and to serve food that isn’t soaked in water. I...

Our visit today was mediocre and borderline disappointing. We ordered the two enchiladas combo, a quesadilla with carne Asada meat (we were told there would be an up charge for the meat substitution, and Pollo de crema and just had waters to drink. We snacked on the chips and salsa while we waited for our order but never saw our waiter again for water refills. Eventually another gal came by for more water. Thr intial plate brought out was incorrect. Instead of the enchiladas we were brought a wrong dish of tacos of some sort. Our waiter immediately fixed it and brought the correct dish, but we didn't see him again. The quesadilla wasn't cut, which was odd. The Pollo de crema was different than I thought it'd be as you have to assemble it yourself and the sauce with the meat was quite messy doing this. It tasted fine but isn't something I'd order again. With how messy it was, it would've been nice having more than the one napkin each on our table, but again we never again saw our waiter. The beef enchiladas were rated a 7/10. When it came to pay our ticket we weren't sure what to do since we hadn't seen anyone and ventured towards the bar. We ran into our waiter doing this and he told us we could meet him at a register to cash out. For the 3 items we had, by menu prices our ticket should've been $35 with the exception of the surcharge for meat substitution but he said our total was $54, he didn't give us an itemized receipt. We didn't realize the prices until we got home to realize we were overcharged. It's not an experience which makes us inclined to want to try again. Also, the women's restroom had no...

Is been coming here for years i'm a truck driver... Is always break on it... I'm not sure if they got new management. But it was just a bad day.. I was going to get a chimichanga today, but they said they ran out of shredded beef... But I could get nachos with ship shredded be didn't make much sense to me. I end up getting the house, not joe's nachos with tomatoes and onions and guacamole on it.. Presentation was terrible taste good though.. Usually they give you the bean salsa. Chopped up cabbage and a little bowl of cheese for your chips. I asked her where the cheese was. She said you have to ask for it now. I said, okay, bring me some... Brought out a bigger bowl than usual yes you have to pay for it now... Didn't say anything about that... They used to give you a little dessert. But they quit that a while ago, too. It was just a little tortilla with cinnamon and a little bit cream on it... Between the cheese and the little dessert? This is what makes the place special too besides.. Beside the big Ice cold beer Mexican beer on tap that they were out of. Maybe just a bad day for me... Usually I would give this a five plus all the time.. So as many times as i've been here, and only this will be Second time it wasn't up to par. So in the big picture, I really can't complain. I just hope they don't have new management And...

Great authentic Mexican restaurant on the southwest outskirts of Omaha metro. Great, comprehensive menu with anything you could want with regards to Mexican food. No annoying background music, which was great by us. Most staff appeared to be bilingual if you have family that only speaks English or only speaks Spanish. The service was slightly slow, but the restaurant was also rather busy. So maybe they're dealing with staffing shortages like everybody else. Didn't impact the food, which came quick and extremely hot from the kitchen. Portion size was generous; certainly not small. Beans and rice are delicious. They specify that the first basket of chips and salsa are complimentary, whereas refills have a modest charge. They DO NOT appear to offer pitchers of margaritas or happy hour specials in case you were wondering. They DO have a fully stocked bar and can make you anything you like I would imagine. Saw a large family of about 20 people having dinner together, so they can accomodate large groups. The attached photo to this review was the specials offered in addition to the menu. Both tacos al pastor and spinach enchiladas were delicious! Solid restaurant and a good dining experience.

This was our first time here after driving past this place hundreds of times. Easy off and on I80! Lunch at 1:40pm the place was pretty quiet. Huge seating area, I’m sure they pack em’ in. Winners of, Best of Omaha 2020. Chips, bean dip, tasty kinda spicy salsa (my wife asked for mild & they delivered) and a slaw arrived quickly on our table. Slaw was interesting/never had slaw Mexican restaurant I ordered the burrito with chicken on the lunch menu (goes til 3pm) with oya beans and rice. My better half got the shredded beef tostado beans and rice + and lime house marg. Our food arrived In good times and it was Extremely hot temperature wise. The chicken burrito was full of pretty good juicy white chicken meat, LOTS of sauce, good beans and rice. It did get a little soggy because it had to cool to eat. HOT food served here! The tostado didn’t do so well. Upon arrival it was too hot to touch and ended up being soggy. The shredded beef was good, guac was ok, beans and rice were enjoyed. Afterwards we both kinda felt like a sodium bomb was served. I’m not sure we liked it enough to stop again?
