After everyone hyping this place up I was excited to try it. I must of went on a complete off night but either way I was beyond disappointed and won’t be back. Went on a Monday evening and sat outside on the quaint patio which I highly enjoyed. My server was outside three times and it took 20 minutes for her to greet my table and take drink orders. We ordered the spinach artichoke dip for an appetizer and we were pleased with this non Italian appetizer being full of flavor and deliciously unique. Thirty minutes after our appetizer was delivered our order was finally taken 😳 I ordered the chicken primavera and it was inedible from the over the top marinara sauce to the over cooked veggies and the absolute cringeworthy presentation. I had three bites and I was done before I started to try my children’s dishes. My sons sugo and meatballs was equally as bad but he did eat the meatballs and left the rest. My daughters pasta with butter garlic sauce was the only thing remotely edible at the table at this point and I’m not sure how you would mess up a butter garlic sauce. My waitress came over and seen my entree that hadn’t been touched and my sons entree who only had the two meatballs missing and asked if we would like boxes. I told her no expecting her to ask if we would like something else or if everything was ok...apparently this server hasn’t been in the industry very long because she took our plates and obviously threw it in the garbage without telling any of the kitchen staff. Next came my $65 bill. I asked her if she could remove one of the entrees, either my sons or mine because as she was aware the dishes were not consumed. She said in a very VERY rude manner, “well I wish you would of told me that” before she huffed and stomped away. I rarely give one star reviews but from the slow service, to the ill prepared food, to the servers rude finale I had no choice. All in all I have to say that not only did this restaurant not meet my expectations they made it so I won’t ever try it again. Bad food one time doesn’t necessarily mean I won’t be back because I’m aware all industry’s have an off day occasionally. But mix that with poor customer service and you lose a potential...
Read moreI have been meaning to try this place for years and finally did! I arrived around 1130 on a Saturday and there was plenty of parking. (It's a small lot) When I went inside it was very small & I did not see any seating so thought it was take out only, but one of the girls behind the counter asked if anyone in line was dinning in and gave us menus and directed us to where the seating was. It is a very small dinning area - one table for 6, 4 tables of 4, and then 2 booths (maybe 3) that could hold 4-8 depending on size and comfort of how close you want to be to others in your group. (Tables cannot be moved together to accommodate larger groups due to fire code! Don't be mad at the nice staff for this) There is also an outdoor area, but I did not venture there due to it being cold, but from inside it looked pretty! The food did not take too long at all to receive. The appetizers were huge and nothing short of amazing! I got the bruschetta and spinach artichoke dip...this was a lot for 2 & half ended up coming home. For the main meals, bow tie pesto with a meatball side and bow tie chicken marinara. Again....both of these meals were amazing! I loved that the chicken was cut up in bite sized pieces in my meal and not a big hunk or large slices. The meatball on the side was huge! Staff was extremely kind, polite, and friendly. I highly recommend this place - even if it's just take out, you will be impressed and enjoy it...
Read moreMy husband and I were in Omaha for the weekend and were looking for somewhere to eat for dinner. I saw how highly rated it was from other Google reviews and the pictures looked awesome, so we decided to try it out. We were not disappointed! This is a little hidden gem in Northwest Omaha. They have a drive thru window that had nonstop cars when we arrived, which was a telling sign of how good it is! However, we wanted to dine in so we actually were led to their downstairs dining area. We had a fantastic waitress who was very attentive to each table she had. We started with the Bruschetta cheese bread for an appetizer which was just as good as the pictures I had seen looked! We wanted to try a couple different things, so we decided on the Sweet Heat pizza and the baked chicken tortellini. Both were absolutely delicious! The tortellini also had the option of a soup or salad, so I ordered a dinner salad with their homemade Italian dressing. I told my husband that if I could buy their dressing, I would eat salads every day! It was so good! When we were done, we also decided to get a couple of the original flavor Cannoli to go. They also did not disappoint. If you haven’t tried this place, you should! My husband and I can’t wait to return next time we...
