Bagels' Best — Restaurant in Needham

What I love from a bagel place is when the bagels are handled by the employees only.. not behind a sneeze guard for people to use their sorry hands and get their own. This place might be busy, but the wait to order is not very long.. 10 minutes at most and then you can get your coffee as they give you a cup to put it yourself, sit down, inside or outside as they have tables outside too, and wait for your name to be called which again isn't long as they have 3 people preparing the food. Or even less waiting if you just order bagels to go as they just pack up what you want right after you pay.

The coffee might be self serve, but it was good and the bagel was great, I haven't tried the gingerbread man in my photos which I just bought cause I really liked his ugly face.

The only downside I see for this place is that there is no accessible entrance and they could invest in converting the rear entrance...

Unfortunately, I can't recommend this Bagel shop due to the risks in their payment practices, which completely broke PCI compliance. The bagels themselves were OK, not the best I have ever had, a little dry! The real problem is that when we tried to pay by card, the server took a picture of my card on his personal phone. We didn't realise he had done it at first, and he didn't explain to us why until we questioned him. He had a lot of photos of customers cards on his phone and planned to run them all at the end of the day, due to the system being slow. We were shocked at this process and the violation of customer data, although he didn't seem to see the issue. We had to ask to see the pictures be permenantly deleted. Had they said they only take cash, we would happily have paid that way. These practices are really dangerous and means that we don't...

Very pleased to have found this place. What a cool and friendly spot. Overnight stay in Needham for the first time, and needed some good food to-go before heading home at 7AM. Enjoyed the place so much I decided to stay-in for my breakfast sandwich. I think nearly every person that walked in was welcomed by name. Genuine interactions, happy customers, excellent service, and - a TOP tier - excellent bagel sandwich. Sausage egg and cheese on an everything, and it was one of the most enjoyable I've had anywhere. About $10 for a great breakfast, and just a really nice place to be for a half hour before getting on with the day. My heartfelt thanks to the employees, who run a wonderful and welcoming place.
