Nicholas' Pizzeria — Restaurant in Needham

Another pizza place making pizza some way other than Italian, Boston's suburbs have no shortage of these Greek or other Mediterranean style establishments. Ordered a calzone and steak sub online. Showed up and they informed me I may have ordered at a different location, verified it was them and it was online, they stated they did not receive it even though I prepaid but they were willing to pull the order together quickly. I said sure. 15 minutes later I walked out with my order. At home I was surprised to see a pizza instead of a calzone and a steak sub which was shaved beef on bread, no toppings, no sauce, no veggies, no cheese, nothing else. Is this typical? Tasted like a bland sloppy joe on french bread. This made Subway look gourmet. Even if I paid for a pizza (calzone was more $ but I prepaid and the few $ difference was not worth my time) the pizza would have still been priced higher than other options in town with no justification for being so, pizza was mediocre...

I ordered pizza from here twice because so far as I could tell it was the ONLY pizza place that delivered to where I was. First time, pizza was overcooked but okay. I was hoping the over--cooked pizza was a bit of a fluke and ordered a second time (both times online). Email said 45 minutes but 1hour and 15minutes later still no pizza (so sad). We called and they said there was no record of the order. We asked for a refund because despite no record of it, we were charged for the order. Twenty minutes later, the order magically showed up after we ordered pizza elsewhere and someone had gone to pick it up. We turned away the delivery and are hoping they still refund us the money. It was disorganized and confusing. Despite the convenience of delivery, I will NEVER order...

Food is ok but they never get your order correct. Order over the phone, on line, or in person they always mess it up somehow & still charge you for your ordered items (more) than your received items. When you call to complain they do nothing to correct the issue. The online ordering system doesn’t go through as you request. They don’t see anything in the note section like toasting a sub for instance or something extra that doesn’t have a button option. I’d say this happens 9 out of 10 times. I’m all done with Nicholas’ Pizza. There are much better places around who get the orders correct. I’d much rather give these places my $$$. Delivery guys are...
