THE BAR-B-Q JOINT — Restaurant in Neosho

Real good. In from out of town and felt like BBQ. Only disappointed was I couldn't get ribs at 12:50 pm, lunch time. I guess they are popular enough in this small town, that they recommend to call in at 8 or 9 am to out your order in if you want runs or brisket. They open at 11, but you can call in at 8 am. They still had pulled pork and sausage, both excellent, and my sides were beans and potato salad. Beans were good, everything else , excellent. I chaired a class reunion at the Best Western in Neosho recently. I coordinated with Elizabeth at the Bar-B-Q Joint to cater it. We had 48 attendees. She was very trusting, helpful and professional throughout the coordination process. Food was delivered on time and in ample quantities. By chance found this teeny BBQ Joint for a quick lunch. Fantastic! Two of us shared a 3-meat plate and left completely satisfied. The pulled pork was moist and tender; the brisket was thick and smoky; and the sausage was tasty. The pork and beans had big chunks of meat but was a bit sweet for my taste and the potato salad was just right. Two sauces complimented the meat perfectly.
