Chamo's Bagel & Grill — Restaurant in Neptune Township

This review is far overdue. I absolutely love this place. I can't tell you how many times I've driven past this place on a regular. One day my Husband stopped for a breakfast sandwich when another spot closed down. He told me how good the sandwich was and took me to grab some Pancakes... delicious, fluffy and moist... I get the same order every time with Turkey Sausage and cheese eggs. I've eaten here at least 15 times or more. I can't say enough about the staff.. but I will...🥰 It's a family owned restaurant and everyone is amazing!!!! Warm, friendly and professional We are always greeted with a smile. The restaurant is spotless clean and organized there is always fresh food on display and the bagels have that true bagel texture on the outside so soft on the inside they are super good, I love the selection. * Try the Cinnamon toast bagel* If course they offer other choices for lunch like salads and wraps. I wish I could try everything..but I always end up getting my usual those delicious...

Here at the TRUE Jersey Shore, there are plenty of choices to choose from when it comes to selecting a bagel store. This store is relatively new as this location has not been open more than a year. The location itself is not too big but it has a cozy feel, if you choose to sit down and enjoy your meal there. The staff is very courteous and it is really clean and fresh inside, they have a good selection of beverages to choose from, as well as chips if you're going to be enjoying a meal closer to lunch time, also they have newspapers on Sundays. When it comes to the food, they give a pretty abundant amount as I am a big guy and did not finish a "platter" order at first sitting. The food itself was pretty tasty but not much of a stand out in comparison to all of the locations I have had the pleasure to try. If I had to pick one thing they could improve on is, how long it took for the food to come out. Other than that, this place is pretty decent and I'm sure I'll be back to eat there...

If you like a spicy bagel in the area then look no further than Chamo's bagel and grill. This place is my top pick in the region along with the bagel nook in freehold which does a ghost pepper cream cheese.

However, here, you will find jalapeno bagel that is also very nice minus the cheddar cheese. Fortunately. The jalapeno spicy cream cheese here has a broader flavor base thanks to the additional spices they put. The bagels themselves are perfectly chewy and the cream cheese is generous.

I will be honest, once I stepped in I was a little nervous about the quality of the bagels and cream cheese looking at their wide Hispanic menu, but these guys completely exceeded my expectations. If you live in the neighborhood then know you are better served compared to most of Monmouth County.
