This was by far the worst customer service experience that I’ve EVER had at a Dunkin Donuts.
I went through the drive-thru to pick up my order. I was initially being served by a woman who went by the name of China, who was 5’5-5’6, African American woman with braided extensions. (which I’m hoping she’s telling the truth.) she was very sweet and courteous through the speaker and while serving my order.
This is where things went south when she asked a co-worker by the name of RoRo, 5’9. African-American woman. (which I’m starting to doubt if it’s her name) Due to my current line of work as a pharmaceutical sales representative, it was important me to collect the receipt after the transaction. (Like any other normal person). Roro was extremely rude and when she was unable to get the receipt. She replied with “I can’t get it and I have costumers behind you.” When I came back to the store after dropping off the donuts to get my receipt, she was extremely condescending to me and said “I don’t know why you came back, when you can just come back tomorrow, we’re the night crew” (I don’t live anywhere near the area of Neptune.). Her tone was still very condescending. China ended up printing out the receipt and apologize for “RoRo”’s behavior. The receipt was definitely crumbled so it wouldn’t surprise if “RoRo” threw it out and China retrieved it. I did tell RoRo that her customer service skills are poor and she does not deserve a customer service job and I stand by it. (Which she then went to accuse me of harassment, which was laughable.) A simple “hey sir, I’m sorry for not being able to print the receipt out, is it possible for you to come back tomorrow? ” would’ve sufficed. It doesn’t take much to be nice and I’ll take this up even further. China (if that is her name.) apologies for her behavior and I hope this particular young...
Read moreStaff is extremely rude. We went in the morning and the person at the register just left gave a blank expression when I started ordering. I repeated order 3 times and she finally says I CAN HEAR YOU KNOW! No nod, no acknowledgement to show that she understood. How can someone know that they were heard when there is no acknowledgement from the other party? She then left the counter without taking in full order. After waiting for few min at the counter when we asked for someone to take our order, a guy shows up and starts repeating "I understand" like a machine and then says something about register not being ready. Shouldn't they inform the customer who is standing at the counter to expect a delay rather than just leaving them wondering? When the order arrived hash browns were just all of the place in the bag. When we showed them, the person at the counter says I didn't do it! So immature, so rude. Not visiting this DD again. DD, if you are reading this, pls know that this store completely ruined my impression of DD. This is the worst experience I have had with DD in over 15 yrs I have been a DD customer. Such an...
Read moreWent here twice today. I speak for a living and speak loudly, clearly and at a good pace at all drive thrus because I realize there can be background noise on both ends. Today, on my first visit, I had to repeat myself three times so far as what I wanted, to the point that when the employee repeated my order back to me, I had to say “skim” for a fourth time. This wasn’t difficult. I literally only ordered a Large Iced Mocha Latte with Skim. That’s it. That was the entire order and it seemed too difficult for the person working the drive thrus. A few hours later I went back and ordered the same exact drink. I received a medium. I did not pay for a large (supposedly—I didn’t bother asking for a receipt) but I’m not sure how the word large sounds anything remotely like the word medium. I’ll...
