When all else had failed, and I ran into dead ends everywhere I went, I was still holding on to the slim hope that my vintage Marshall JCM900 would be able to be resurrected after failing on me at my last gig. Somehow I lucked into discovering Generation Electric and was fortunate enough to meet the owner, Adam, who assured me I had come to the right place. He claimed there was nowhere better to service this amp than his place - quite a bold claim, indeed. But after the service I have received and the impeccable attention to detail he devoted to my amp I’m convinced he is right. And I am happy to say my Marshall is back, and better than ever - loud, in your face, and roaring! Adam took the time to explain every single aspect of what was going on, what he discovered, the sources of the problems, and what the course of action would be during the service he was going to perform. It’s rare to find someone who has not only this level of knowledge, but who is also willing to go out of their way to be courteous and engage in a conversation with you. His shop is impeccably clean and organized and you can tell he runs a tight ship AND takes PRIDE in the work he does. I wasn't getting the sound that I wanted out of it and there were hisses and static sounds coming from it and I took it to a couple different people. I would get the amp back, and after a few performances, the noises would come back. I was beginning to realize that I may have wasted a lot of money on this amp. A dear friend told me about this shop in Neptune, NJ, and I took it there, fully knowing that if this didn't work, I would have to sell the amp, and at a lower cost because of the problems.
