I had the pleasure of going through this establishments drive thru and it wasn’t a pleasant experience at all. After working an 8+ hour shift, I decided to treat myself to a little treat and stopped by here… I was greeted by a male voice through the speaker, I proceeded to tell him my order, and in the midst of me telling him my order, he proceeded to talk to someone else on the speaker where I could hear him, then asked me my order again and proceeded to tell him.
When it came to the drink portion of my order, the customer rep proceeded to rush me and kept saying, “coffee, coffee” what about the coffee? In a rude and VERY condescending way. As if DD only sells coffee lol.
As I was taken aback by his rude attitude, I proceeded to ask him if he could wait, and in a snappy tone, he YELLED “YES!” In between me standing up for myself, he proceeded to tell me “to go home”. As a Black woman, what the hell is that supposed to mean?
That’s when I lost my cool. It was literally 7am, what is the attitude for? I pulled up to this establishment with good intentions, integrity, and respect and I wasn’t treated as such. Not to mention I was the ONLY car in line, so what was the rush? If working in customer service, there is NO reason why a customer rep should ever speak to a customer like that, ESPECIALLY IF IT IS UNPROVOKED. This particular location also gives strong inclinations of them having discriminatory undertones in the way they choose to speak and entertain certain people.
They will NOT be receiving...
Read moreIf I could give this location less than 1 star I would. Let me start off with I will own the two mistakes I made this morning by visiting this DD. The first was going through the Drive Thru. I thought (duh) that by just getting a Hot Tea with milk and sugar it would be a quick experience. WRONG!!! I was in the line for over 10 minutes for one thing! The person in front of me got 3 hot beverages and a small bag of something, her order took over 8 minutes. When I finally got to the window I waited AGAIN, after paying my $2.50, I told the girl at the window to put the rest in the cup for a tip, NO THANK YOU at all! When I finally got my tea and drove off down the road (now late for work) I took a sip of my VERY COLD hot tea. When I got to work, I put my tea in the microwave to heat it up, 1 minute and 30 seconds later I finally had my hot cup of tea! The second mistake I will own is visiting this DD! I will NEVER make that mistake again. This location is on my way to work, its right off the GSP and close to Rt. 18, but if you are looking for a quick experience, DO NOT GO HERE! As other raters have said, the staff is also rude. If you don't like your job get another one! I hope the owners of this establishment read these comments, if not, I hope the...
Read moreAs a Dunkin’ employee I was VERY DISRESPECTED and VERY DISAPPOINTED by the staff today 08/10/19 (1:30pm). I paid for over $25 in coolattas and I understand that It takes a few minutes and hence why I tipped. My order consisted of frozen chocolates for my younger cousins. Then I also got caramel frozen coffees. None of the drinks came with whipped cream as they should generally come with unless requested to be taken off the drinks. Of course little children want whipped cream so I asked to get it on the two frozen chocolates. I was told they come with additionally charges which I’m confused because in my Dunkin’ there are no additional charges. I asked also for the whipped cream to go on the caramel ones too and nothing I got disrespected and told I have to pay per regulations of Dunkin’, then the employee just turned around and ignored me. Then the employees gathered behind the coffee machines and started talking out loud about me and my family about the whipped cream situation. For lousy whipped cream. I as a Dunkin’ employee do not understand the laziness and proper explanation for the whipped cream issue. The staff members were so rude and the quality of the products was awful. I DO NOT HAVE TO BE CHARGED FOR...
