Finally in the area to check out Ninos after seeing some intriguing social media ads. So I was in the area for a Costco run and decided to order on line after I checked out of costco.. First observation when I walked in @ 6:10 PM(prime dinner time), one young lady @ the register and one pizza guy. That's all you need for a dinner rush? Then I see a Horrific display shelf with Hours old pizza slices with dry, curled edges and Disgusting cracked cheese. First, the slices looked like leftovers from lunch. Is this Really what you want to present to your potential first time customers at dinner time? Second, those slices were Way past health code holding time for consumption. If I had walked in to place my order in person, I would have turned around and left. The young lady @ the counter was the best part of my visit. She was friendly, attentive and seemed like she knew her job. As soon as I got in my car I started to dig in, Pizza 1st. The menu is full of Lies! Coal Fired Pizza? I think Not! In what oven, The deck oven to the right of the entrance? There is no visible sign of a coal oven or evidence on the pizza. You want to See that pizza oven at work. There was Zero char on the pizza, and no coal dust on the crust bottom? There is also a distinct smell in a coal oven establishment. Not here. The oven should run Very HOT and should Blister the dough. This pizza resembled one cooked in a basic pizza oven. I ordered the clam pie. First off, the menu does Not state mozz cheese only Parm. This one had Mozz, no Parm so Mr Pizza man doesn't know how to cook his menu? Mozz is a Big no on a clam pie. It was also topped with canned chopped clams?! Don't waste my time. You want a Real clam Pie, Frank Pepe's, in New Haven CT. That's the standard this is more like a rest stop pizza. The wings were Fair at best. I added the long hots. They were precooked peppers and So greasy. If you're going to make wings in a coal fire oven, you cook the peppers fresh with the pre-roasted wings in a cast iron skillet or small pan so all the pepper juices marinate with all the wing juices and the oil, lemon, garlic and the rosemary but, again I question "Coal Fired". They were greasy and seemed deep fried like any other pizza takeout wings with a cpl greasy peppers on top.👎There was just no sign of oven roasted nor was the oven being used in right a coal oven. I added 1/2 dz garlic knots that looked fresh but they werewere undercooked and the side of sauce was Soo Salty! So after spending $45 including tip, I tossed the pizza, finished cooking the garlic knots off in My oven and picked at a cpl wings. I wish I had walked in to place my order in person so that I could have been turned off by the sight of the old slices on display. That would have saved me $45 and the aggravation of having to make dinner at home and I wouldn't have written this Terrible, but accurate review. I can get this "quality" down the street from my house. By the look and lack of atmosphere and lack of a decent dining room with actual patrons dining in it, I can't imagine they're actually making homemade pasta either. Lies! Definitely...
Read moreWe ordered a cheese pizza, wings with ranch dressing and a Nutella cannoli cream pizza. Pizza was burnt. Dessert pizza had no cannoli cream and no ranch. Called manager (Indian man) who couldn't speak English well and he argued with me that we had to request cannoli cream and couldn't make order over. It was 8 pm and they close at 9. I asked for my money back and he said no. We went back to restaurant with order and gave it back and he still refused to give us our money back! They remade order after arguing with each other about it. We said just put cannoli cream on the one we had. Remade it again without it! Then said we don't have cannolis here! Cook used bare hands to touch all over the pizzas in between touching his phone. I threw it out. Disgusting and frustrating place that wasted our time. To refuse our money back is wrong when you don't even have the ingredients for your menue and the food is inedible. Health dept needs to check in on this place and owner should not advertise items they don't know how to make. Knowing how to speak English...
Read moreThe pizzeria came to us positively recommended for their subs but oh were we led astray. Each of my party of 3 was more dissatisfied with their sub than the last.
One sub was drowning in mayo for some reason, the others with mayo werent. The other sub was just sad compare to what it couldve been. Then my cheesesteak was burnt all over and hardly diced. It looked and tasted like charred steak ums. Even my dog was wary of some of the more charcoal esque pieces.
To start this disappointing take out experience I got to awkwardly stand at the counter waiting to pay while the clerks had what looked like a sibling dispute and argument. Right in front of the whole joint.
Will not be going back and will be demanded a meal from the friend's who positively...
