I am willing to give a reward for the return of my items.||||I reached out to the hotel regarding the return of my belongings that I inadvertently left behind during my recent stay from December 25, 2024, to December 27, 2024. Due to heavy holiday traffic, my return home was significantly delayed, resulting in me sleeping most of Saturday. Upon waking on Sunday, I realized that I had left my Longchamp bag containing brand new luxury makeup (for a photo shoot that was later canceled) and several pieces of jewelry (valued in the 4 figures) in room #210.||||I contacted the hotel at 11:08 AM on Sunday to report the missing bag. Tierra, who answered my call, confirmed my identity and informed me that the lead housekeeper with access to the lost and found was not in. She suggested that I call back the following day.||||I followed up on Monday, December 30, 2024, at 9:50 AM and spoke again with Tierra, who remembered my previous inquiry. She informed me that the lead housekeeper was still not in, but Isadora Silva, the General Manager, was present and would check with the housekeeper responsible for my room for my bag. Ms. Silva was to return my call.||||When I had not received a call after two days, I contacted the hotel again on Wednesday, January 1, 2025, at 9:57 AM. Tierra apologized for the lack of follow-up from Ms. Silva and directed me to her voicemail, where I left a message. Unfortunately, I have yet to receive a return call.||||I plan to provide an update within the next 30 days regarding the status of my items and whether I received any communication from Ms. Silva.||||While I acknowledge my responsibility for leaving behind my Longchamp Le Pilage Top Handle Bag containing valuable makeup and several pieces of jewelry (valued in the 4 figures), I trust that the hotel has protocols in place to assist in the recovery of lost items. But this is the world we live in. I know for certain I left my bag in the hotel room. Due to the large size, there is no doubt that the housekeeper found my bag. Whether she claimed it as hers, shared it with others, or turned my items over to hotel staff for return to me which didn't happen, in my opinion it was a nice enough "find" that whoever has it has discussed it with others.||||If anyone has information regarding my belongings, I encourage them to contact the Neptune Police Department's non-emergency line at (732) 988-8000 or to reach out to me through Yelp, Tripadvisor, or other social media platforms or directly to the hotel. I am offering a reward for the return...

On day 2 of our stay, in the bathroom there were only 2 clean bath towels and 2 wash cloths. This means there were no hand towels for washing of hands or to use as a hair towel for short hair after a shower. On day 3 of out stay, (Sunday), we left the room early and anticipated returning later in the afternoon to a clean and tidied room with renewed towels and wash cloths in order to get ready to attend a Wedding Reception. However, when we came in later that afternoon, the room was untouched and the dirty towels were still in the bathroom. With Housekeeping all the way at the other end of the hallway, I took it upon myself to take the one wastebasket trash bag, and the dirty towels down to the Housekeeping staff and verbally requested 2 bath towels, 2 wash cloths and 2 hand towels. The Housekeeping staff individual did not speak any English and it was difficult to get my needs across. I finally did get the needs across to her and returned to my room with 3 bath towels, 2 hand towels and 2 wash cloths. So for Sunday night's showers we were set. However, the other more serious problem in the bathroom was the absence of any "anti-slip" strips in the bottom of the bath tub. I myself found it difficult to shower each time but managed to remain upright throughout my showers on Friday night and Saturday night. That was not the case for my 83 year old husband who upon attempting to step out of the bath tub fell flat on his back and was unable to get himself upright without my help. Fortunately for Holiday Inn Express he was only bruised and did not suffer hitting his head or breaking something. Having said all this, it definitely makes us hesitant to consider staying at any other Holiday Inn Express for our own safety. Hopefully, the corporation of Holiday Inn Express will take this review seriously and make appropriate safety changes in the bathroom to prevent something serious happening to any...
Read moreUpon checking into my two reserved rooms, we found that one of the rooms had an issue with the TV, an error message came up on the screen. We called the front desk and were told it was a known issue in some rooms. We asked to be moved to the room on the other side of our second room. That evening after we were unpacked and the children were sleeping, we found that the shower in the new room didn't work. So I showered in the second room, but found that the shampoo and conditioner bottles on the wall were empty, so I just used body wash for everything. The next morning, I told the front desk and they promptly sent up new bottles of toiletries, but just said "awww" about the broken shower. Breakfast depended on who was giving out the bags, one employee gave one of each item, one gave 2 pastries and 2 bars, one gave just a bowl of cereal and a nutrigrain bar and pastry but no water bottle . It seems like the full complement was a bottle of water, a nutrigrain bar, a bowl of cereal (no milk was available) and a pastry. They don't provide any coffee in the room, but when I asked for K cups for the keurig they gave them to me promptly. The room was mostly clean. To use the pool, the front desk took our temperatures and then personally let us into the pool room. My kids really enjoyed the pool and it was nice to have an indoor pool for the winter. When we were there, we were the only ones in the pool, but there can be up to 14 people there. I'm guessing that the issues in the room were because there hadn't been anyone in those rooms in a very long time because of COVID and they hadn't been checked before being given to us. Just check that everything in your room is functional before you settle in, and check that the toiletries aren't empty, just in case. It's too bad because the hotel is nice looking and a little effort in maintaining the rooms would improve the...
