After waiting 10+ mins for some slices to be heated up , I headed home ,$6.15 for two slices: one plain & one BCR. Alright I guess ,wait wasn't too long , however after I got home I realized the pizza was dryer than dry , the bottom of the pizza has little nubs on it like it was cooked on a mesh plate ? (Pic #1). I've had pizza all over the greater Netcong area and it's safe to say ANY place has fresher pizza (Pizza Express for instance)... For the record I was there @5pm on a Sunday. If you read all the reviews they are very generic and almost seem faked , not sure how this pizza place stays in business when there are two other pizza shops down the road with better pizza .

Joe and I decided today while we were while munching on a some delicious garlic 🧄 knots 🪢 at #JohnnyJrsPizza 🍕in #NetcongNJ that, at our age, coming home smelling like garlic 🧄 is same as coming home as a newlywed and having glitter ✨ on you. Just let your spouse know where you were. She knows you weren’t at work. 🤣🤣🤣 Anyway…we went to Johnny Jr.’s Pizza 🍕 to get a Chicken 🐓 Bacon 🥓 Ranch 🤠Deep Dish 🍕 Pizza. It was delicious, very filling and highly recommended. If you are ever in Netcong and want to support a local small business, give it a try. #BigDudesBigFoods #SupportSmallBusiness #BDBFCertified #BDBF

This pizza is truly defined by its crust. The texture and taste is very good. The $2 slice is big and full of value. Tons of cheese, but could use just a little more sauce. Or maybe that is their intention because the crust is so good? People on the phone were very nice and were very gracious at the counter. This is a solid slice of pizza in an impressive Sussex County Pizza division on the Pizza Hunters App. I know that their crust can hang with anyone. Good Job Johnny Jrs.

NOTE: PIZZA RATING ONLY My family and I have ordered from every pizza place, franchise and mom & pop, in the area and Johnny Jrs. is BY FAR the best in our opinion. We order from Johnny Jrs. about once every other week and they have never disappointed us. The pizza is consistently delicious; the crust is not too thin or thick, perfect sauce/cheese ratio, and always perfectly cooked. And although I do agree with some of the other reviews that the portions could be bigger, I would much rather have a really good smaller slice than a 1/2 inch bigger, under cooked, sloppy mess (e.g. DON'T ORDER FROM DINO'S!!); QUALITY OVER QUANTITY. Again, I can only speak for the pizza, as we have not had their entrees or sandwiches, but with their pizza being so good, I can't imagine the entrees being any less. The appetizers we've had were also very yummy; mozzarella sticks, mac & cheese bits, fried calamari & ravioli (my husband & daughter love the fried raviolis!); and the zeppolis, not only do they give you a TON per order but are absolutely delicious. I would also like to mention one more thing that I personally find very VERY important: The majority of the mom & pop pizzerias have extremely rude employees (e.g. CARMINE'S has HORRID staffing) and the staff at Johnny Jrs. is always SO nice. From the man who answers the phone to both delivery drivers, everyone has always been very polite and courtesy. Little things, such as speaking to your customers, seem too often neglected, so I really enjoy ordering from Johnny Jrs. Who wants to work hard all day then treat yourself to an easy dinner only to talk to a total snot on the phone? Not this full time working mommy & wife. Johnny Jrs. comes HIGHLY recommend from the Kiely...

10/24/2024 I used to get there food all the time and loved it. 2.5 -3 years later after covid and some teeth issues I went today for the first time. Omg the cook and same man at counter was so unhappy and rude to me and the slices I got were so over cooked and burned at the bottom I literally took one little cut off the plain slice and couldn't even chew any of it. I also got a chicken bacon ranch slice it was so stale and hard it literally couldn't bend. I got a side salad and asked for shredded cheese. I was charged extra for dressing. I paid 16.98 for 2 slices and a small garden salad. The lettuce was partially brown. The best part was the fresh bread I dipped it in the ranch I had to pay for. The pizza crust on the bottom tastes like they added glass shards on it. They used to have almost like a little fried breading on it but it's so hard now it rips your tongue and roof of the mouth apart and it's so unappetizing. The slices so thin and barely any cheese. I will never go here again. Ever. If you want friendly faces and great food go to Franks on Hopatchung Rd. I. Hopatcong.

We just ordered from Johnny's again tonight and are on our way to pick it up. Since we moved here a year ago we used the slice app to try different places to eat. Johnny's is our absolute favorite!! My husband says they are always friendly no matter how busy they are and I can attest to the fact the food is always fresh and amazing if you ever do have something to ask for different they always accommodate if they can. Amazing staff and cooks can't go wrong. Out of the neighboring 5 pizza places this has become...

I called last night to place an order for pick up. One of the worst customer service experiences I've had with a restaurant. When I called and say "hi, can i place an order for pick up?". The response I recieved was "Ugghhh I guess so!", told her my pizza order, and was then asked "want anything else?" Spoken with attitude. I said "yes, do you have any garlic knots?" Her response was rude again, she only stated "6 or 12". I drove over and waited inside the restaurant for my order. While I was waiting I noticed the person who took my order kept, pulling her mask away from her face to talk to co workers, and then I saw her drink whiskey from one of those small Jack Daniels shot bottles (check your cameras for proof). She stated to another customer she was Johnny's roommate. Extremely unprofessional. On a recent previous visit, she had the same demeanor so I know this was not a one...
