This review is based on my experience: I cannot review the food since we received no service, hence no food. Decided to try a new place for breakfast. Upon entering the place was not too busy. Took a while for the hostess to tell us to seat ourselves. We were promptly given menus and then the wait began. I knew what kind of service we were going to get when the gentlemen at the table next to us had to yell to get the attention of the server for a coffee refill. We sat with our menus and received zero acknowledgement from anyone that we would be served. The server walked our table several times but made no eye contact with us. Finally we got attention of the hostess and she kindly told us that she would get someone to take our order. In the meantime two tables were seated with customers that were obviously known to the workers. They were immediately served coffee and drinks and yet we waited. This was so off-putting that we knew there was no way we would have a good experience so we left. I guess this business has no need for new customers. This was our first and last time visiting this...
Read moreWas very excited for a new breakfast/brunch/lunch spot desperately needed in the area. Finally got to stop in and was thoroughly disappointed. There was no hostess up front so we sat ourselves at the counter since it wasn’t busy. It took a while to even get noticed. When my fiancée and I finally got our ordered cheesesteaks it got worse. The meat was not seasoned at all as well as being overly tough. Not sure if the sub rolls were supposed to be either overly hard or toasted and hard but that was not pleasant either. My fiancées steak meat tasted like bacon which is ok if you like it, which she doesn’t. The only thing decent were the fries and nothing to write home about. The cost wasn’t terrible but definitely not a bargain compared to other establishments. Maybe their breakfast food would be a better bet but I don’t have high hopes after my experience. Will not...
Read moreWe were randomly in town and needed a spot to grab breakfast. Not knowing the area, we found Lidia’s Place on Google—and it turned out to be a total win!
We came with our five-year-old son, so it could have been a hit or miss, but we ended up having a delicious meal. My vegetarian omelette was absolutely incredible, my husband’s California chicken sandwich was perfectly made and packed with flavor, and even our son loved his simple bagel.
Service was warm and attentive, and the overall atmosphere was cozy and welcoming. Definitely a great find—we’d come back in...
