The Father's Table — Restaurant in Nettleton

A very sweet, family run restaurant. You can tell it’s a locals’ favorite. Just a few buildings down from the Piggly Wiggly, next to a repair shop. Went there for lunch. They have a hot bar, with your choice of entree and two sides for $10. Today was a delicious looking meatloaf or chicken spaghetti, choice of candied carrots, mashed potatoes, beans, fried okra. We chose to order off the menu for a hamburger and cheese burger (They were out of the pulled pork and hotdogs) and fried onion rings. We had to wait a bit but that’s because it was all cooked to order and it was delicious. The fresh made onions rings were excellent. The burgers were huge and just as we ordered. I definitely recommend The Father's Table. It's not fancy. But they really make you feel welcome and at home. The service was great. And the FOOD! they don't cook the food till you order it and it is served pipping hot. We had the double cheeseburger, fries and shared an order of cheese sticks. The burger is m ade from 100% pure ground beef and cooked to perfection. And their prices are very reasonable. My only suggestion to them would be that they would be open on Saturdays...

After several meals from this establishment, I have to share why we keep returning. The food is always great and the service is even better. I have yet to taste anything I don’t like in their meals.
