Service was good fair, but the food tasted so bad (~$25 worth for 4 people) that NONE of us could stomach finishing it even though we were very hungry and hadn't eaten all day! Actually our order was messed up by one large fry being curly that was supposed to be regular but ser didn't say anything. We didn't dau how awful the food was either. The bathrooms were trashed as well and my son did complain about that but they seemed unconcerned. That was before we got our food enough is probably why we didn't bother complaining about the food. I guess we thought no one would care anyways. The chicken nuggets had some strange strands of inedible gunk cooked inside them. The Ultimate ChBgr was flooded with so much mustard it was beyond gross. It was EVERYWHERE! I tried eating the one patty that didn't have much sauces spread to it but my appetite was gone by then. We were in such a hurry to get out of there with sick tummies that were didn't even fill up our drinks and we ALWAYS top-up before we leave, especially on days as HOT as it was that day and we had a long day of errands (multiple school orientations all over CCSD that day). I never did complain about it to them but I should have. Corporate usually makes it right when you have a bad experience I just didn't feel like reliving it and put it out of my mind. It's been 6 days and I'm just now leaving this since Google reminded me. I thought others should know. I meant to check their rating/ grade but I forgot to look. I think they might be a 24hours location, which makes it harder to be great. But our experience was still not acceptable. Not the worst, but notable. I'd go somewhere else if you can. Luckily I'm rarely in that area, it's just near the magnet school two of our kids are going to this year so we had to be there. They take the bus and we won't be out that way except when required. As for interior atmosphere, there were only about 3-4 other groups and they were polite and quiet. I think they were making rounds for school orientations too too be honest. No rowdy or loud punks. Pretty mellow and nothing disruptive. Oh there was some stress at the drink machine. It's one of those touch screen multiple selection points that never sense my touch and people are getting impatient behind us trying to get our drinks but they didn't eat in the restaurant so I had forgot about them. They didn't say anything to us but I felt the pressure and frustration. I hate those things. It's supposed to be fast food. Hard to be fast when you have a hundred drink selections to sort through...
Read moreThis isn't my first time going to this specific jack in the box, but the service was absolutely awful this time round. No one was at the cashier for 10 minutes and from what I could see, there was only 1 or 2 guys working on the food. Then when a different customer began to complain about their food, the manager came out attended said customer and then got to the cashier. When she got there, there was a slight language barrier, but I thought that the order was fine when she (the manager) repeated it back. That was, until I saw my receipt that said side salad. Even if I specifically requested garden salad. The thing is, I didn't want them to feel even more stressed because the employees that were working were overwhelmed, but the incompetent ones couldn't be fired because they were understaffed. There is a lack of a well rounded staff as the employees I saw there were mostly cooks. Once it got busy, I saw 2 or 3 other employees walk out, and they started doing there job as they should've been doing before the rush of people came in. The only reason I stayed was because it was my loss if I left since I already paid. However, the people that were still waiting for a cashier to come (the manager didn't stay as a cashier for long) left as the service was slow. I spent a total of 35 minutes waiting for a side salad, teriyaki bowl combo, and a breakfast platter. There was no ice in the vending machine and the sodas were warm. They had ice in the back though, but we had to ask for it. The only reason I gave this place 3 stars was because I know that not every shift preforms this poorly. Every shift should be able to perform at a competent level in order to satisfy the needs of customers. I recommend a more well rounded staff in order to prevent something like this from...
Read moreI am very upset with the employees at this location. They behave in a manor that makes me feel discriminated against. This location has had a NOW HIRING AND EXCEPTING APPLICATIONS sign hanging in the window for weeks now. I have personally taking time out of my day to go down to the location and fill out an application by hand several times, and each time someone lies to me and says they don't have applications even tho the sign is clearly posted in the window. I have called this location several times in an attempt to speak with a hiring manager or even a shift leader or supervisor who can help me apply for the open positions and each time someone gets on the phone and says that they don't know when the manager will be in. I have worked in fast food for over six years as a crew member and a supervisor and I'm sure every store manager is supposed to report to work at least one day out of the week especially at franchise locations. Then after all this I finally talk to a cashier who says that I can go online to a website but the information she provides to me just sends me to various spam websites that are trying to gather my personal information for their own records and is not accredited by the BBB or anything of that sort. I am a hard working college student who is simply trying to earn a honest living and for a company who clearly has a NOW HIRING poster which takes up a got 40% of the window discriminate against me is beyond inexcusable. I have always considered Jack in the box as one of my favorite restaurant in terms of food quality which is another reason why I am trying to apply for a position. I just feel it is beyond unfair for a young man with no criminal history and amazing resume in this industry to not even be able to get a chance...
