Now a nice gentleman in Gardnerville at a Peruvian sweater shop....$80/ sweater for alpaca zip up with hoodie 3x....suggested this restaurant even though it was ,4 miles away. He said it was worth every dime....so we toodled over there. Easy to find I believe on rte ,88. Mannnn I just got back from Mexico and I am saying that food was plentiful and delicious!!!!! Edit: I originally wrote this 3 tears ago, and I'm changing my review from 4 to 5 stars. Why? Because I keep going back there almost every time I drive through Minden. I can grab some amazing tacos to go, or eat in if I prefer. And really, if that's not exactly what I'm looking for in a place I would rate 5 stars, I don't know what is.

Don't get me wrong, the service was amazing. But that's where I have to say these 2 stars come from. I ordered enchiladas and beans. Man was I disappointed. The beans were SO bland that the chile I put on them didn't even help. I'd suggest using some Manteca or some other kind of lard to fry them. The enchilada sauce. So watery. It didn't seem like it was made with any flour. It was somewhat vinegary but tomatoey. I can't explain it but it definitely didn't taste like it had any chile powder or cumin.
