Cove 1606 Bar & Grille — Restaurant in New Bedford

The key entrees that we want to order we're not available as they were not ready we opted for fish and chips, the fish had green going through it it was overcooked french fries were very good. My friend ordered broiled haddock with mashed potatoes and broccoli. It was overcooked not fresh and also at Green going through it they said it was a pesto sauce but the fish was old it was not fresh,. Mashed potatoes with lukewarm as were the broccoli I would rate this I will not go back to this restaurant we had a season deal we would charge $46 for the most terrible meal and the boss was there I don't expect the restaurant to last that long but I wouldn't they don't go there but beware the price of the food was ridiculous the presentation was was awful. The full wages had to keep coming out with negative answers to any questions we had but we did tip for a while for her embarrassment as for the proprietor if that was who I was speaking with shame on him he should have at least part of the meal but he stayed hiding in the kitchen. But I won't give them a second chance...

I was actually going over the reviews of last night and most of them are very very nice but then I came across one written by a mister flood saying that the doorman is racist that couldn't be any farther from the truth he's a very nice person and if you knew anything about him you would know that half of his family is of color so to say that this man is racist is absolutely ridiculous so my opinion is that you should take down what you said and apologize because you couldn't be any further from the truth but again that's...

Took my mother for dinner, drove from Boston and it was definitely worth it. The waitress was so thoughtful and attentive that when she noticed my mom’s trying to read the menu she turned the lights up in the establishment until she was ready to order. That meant a lot!!!
