Morna Lounge and Grill — Restaurant in New Bedford

If I could leave a zero star review I would. I ordered food through DoorDash and they gave me completely different things from what I ordered and they left out a whole dish I understand people make mistakes and that’s why I called them to resolve the issue to see if I could pick up the dish that was missing and to replace the dish that was completely incorrect. She ended up saying to me “this is a Cape Verdean restaurant. We don’t serve Italian dishes” -I ordered mushroom stroganoff which was an option through DoorDash, but they gave me sautéed eggplant on the app If it says you can order this, I expect I can order it unless they ran out of it. I went to this Restaurant with my family thinking it’s a good idea . Well come to find out this is the worst Cape Verdean restaurant I’ve ever been to poor customer service poor food quality and they decided to automatically add 18% tip which I argued to not pay because the server was horrible and had not idea about serving. After owner was called over to see about resolving issue he argued with me and never apologized for the lack of good customer service. I wouldn’t recommend coming here for anything. I hate to give reviews like these but, I go say for the first time I was there I expected more. You got make an impression every time you get new guests or same ones. We waited almost 2 hours for food to arrive. And when we got the food there was no recognition that they knew they took too long to bring the food to us. The service from the staff was terrible to say the least. Take this from a guest that was there to eat your food and feel welcomed as a wake up call to do better.
