This is the best hot dog stand around, and a staple of New Bedford in my heart. The people are kind, the hot dogs are warm and the buns are perfectly soft, the onions feel fresh and crunchy unlike some other places, and every time I go here I get to feel like I’m having a “ho’ dog” with my dad again. 2 Hot dogs hot, not lukewarm, which was a big plus. They were great and included a bag of chips and bottle of water for $5. Better by far than the burger places, both for taste and value. Picnic tables, by necessity, are between parked cars and neighboring fence so that's why the atmosphere didn't score a 5, and the intersection location is very noisy with lots of truck traffic.
