This was a small little restaurant, inside what looks like a store front. The food does not come out quickly, but you can tell it's mostly all made right there. I got the Barney's bowl with ham, and it was really good. The gravy in it (assuming is used for biscuits and gravy) was really good. They have french vanilla creamer and the coffee was really good. The service was a little slow, and the young server didn't bring refills or ask if we wanted refills. If we wanted something, we had to get her attention and ask for it. My toast didn't come out until I was almost done with my breakfast, and my husband had to ask for it. That still didn't stop me from giving them 4 stars. Read moreBolly's in downtown New Bremen, Ohio epitomizes a classic small town diner. It's primarily a breakfast and lunch place - they open most days at 7am and close at 2pm, except for Friday's when they re-open from 4:30 to 8pm.
The menu is a mix of good old American cooking. I had the Bolly burger, which consists of a 1/4 lb beef patty, American cheese, an onion slice, dill pickles, and cole slaw (that's what makes it Bolly). Their breakfast is probably what they're more known for, so maybe if we're back there sometime earlier in the day, we'll have to check that out.
Service was great as well. Today was the boss, Brandi's birthday, so I sang Happy Birthday to her - And she still let me stay.
