Jack's Donuts in New Castle In. — Restaurant in New Castle

Went here for our first time and they asked us bag or box… don’t know how many fit in either so I just assumed 12 fit in a box like normal but I said, “I’ve never been here before” instead of explaining the girl at the counter gave me a distant stare.. ok so whatever.. we picked out what looked alright and went on our way. The filled donuts were the cream type and not Bavarian. How a donut shop doesn’t have Bavarian is beyond me but ok… none of the donuts were that impressive. Next time I’ll save myself the money and even get better donuts at Kroger, even if they were out of stock Walmarts donuts are still better. For a small town where people don’t have a lot of options I get it but if this was a big city I would give this place 1 star or less. Tried it, not impressed and for $13 for a dozen I won’t be back.

I gave 2 stars only because service was satisfactory but I could have gotten better quality product at any grocery store. I phoned this location to speak with owners as was told to phone "office " which I did..was told owners were not in and given email address to which after submitting never even received any type of response...like owners couldt care less...time to go back to a "dunking donuts" Love how "owners " response TOTALLY IGNORED the fact that I PHONED with my(and neighbors) dissatisfied comments but was told not in & given personal email that he TOTALLY IGNORED about 48 hours before I posted internet..truth must hurt..did you think me(& neighbors) dissatisfaction didn't matter?? Shows good quality customer service no longer matters..& calling me names?? VERY "professional " NOT At least people NOW know,want Good CLASSIC,PROFESSIONAL quality product & services,...

I walked in and nobody greeted me. One woman was cleaning a drink machine or something. OK, fine, she's busy. Then, after waiting 4 minutes, another woman walks through the curtain. At the same time, a woman walks through the door. She greets that woman. Doesn't even acknowledge me. She proceeds to make that woman a drink. I thought, ok, maybe she knew she was in a rush and she'll get my donuts in a se one. Nope! She asked THAT woman if SHE wanted donuts. I live 70 miles away. I was SO excited to take some Jack's to my coworkers tomorrow, but I never got them. The woman, who appears to be in her 60's but probably isn't, with unkempt (kind of wavy, but mostly frizzy) hair just cost you an order of 4 dozen donuts. (This was close to 3:00pm on Tuesday, November 7th). I was talking to my sister in law about my situation, and she said she had the same experience there with...
