Subway — Restaurant in New Castle

I don’t have a clue what this young lady’s name was but she has made our pick up order a few times and she is phenomenal (as are really all of the workers) — but this last Wednesday, 30 March (we always order on wednesdays) she went the extra mile and cut my kids’ pizzas in 8 slices instead of 4, so I didn’t have to do anything else to the pizza when we got it home. May seem like a small thing but we didn’t ask for it and it’s like she new they were for the kids (we exchanged a few words about the sandwiches I get for them a few times) and did a really nice and unexpected thing. Bill came to $5.01 so I said I would run out to my truck to get the penny and the young lady said she couldn't do that because she already ran it up. Uh, what!? I said I didn't want a pocket full of change so I would just give her a penny and she could just give me bills back. She said she would have to ring it up again if I did that because she didn't know how to do that. Are you kidding me? It was ONE penny! I said can I take a penny out the jar on the counter and she said no those are tips. Well needless to say she didn't get a tip from me. She didn't even thank us for stopping in....

Very nice establishment to come and eat at. The restaurant is normally clean and cool in the summer. The staff are friendly. The parking sucked though. Not recommended for trucks, pick-up trucks or large vans. The bathrooms are kept clean and the food seems to be kept to temperature so it tastes very good. I highly recommend this place if you are...
