Froggy's Sandwiches — Restaurant in New Fairfield

Service and atmosphere is amazing! Everyone is super nice and courtesy BUT my biggest issue with this place is the food.. it's BLAND. NO flavor. No seasoning. No nothing.. got a chicken sandwich and it looks great, the texture of crunch was there, it was moist but even adding the hot sauce and dressing there still was NOOO FLAVOR.. I couldn't even finish it because it was not satisfying AT ALL. It's upsetting because the food looks beautiful and delicious! Id try this place ONE more time. I just cant wrap my head around the complete void of any flavor regarding the food. Please add some flavor to these good looking sandwiches! It would be nice to actually enjoy eating the sanwich, I was so disappointed I threw it away. :/ Maybe its just the new kinks being worked out? Im trying to find a plausible excuse for why it just wasnt good?? I wanted to give this place a real shot despite being told by several people that this place just isnt good.. ill try you guys one more time! Hopefully a bit more...

I arrived to pick up my breakfast sandwich after paying online, and it wasn’t there on the pickup shelf. I ask where my order is, and the staff have no idea. Im told not to worry, if they happen to see my charge they will refund me. Then im told if I want, to take a sandwich that no one else picked up, from the DAY BEFORE. So basically they screwed up and tried to offer me something totally different, made for someone else the day prior!! All they had to do was ask me what I ordered and make it..and I would have waited… and I am still waiting for my refund too after confirming the order for the 3rd time. These people are smoking crack in there, ill never go back again and I will make it my personal mission to make sure every person come across knows to never to go to this dump.

Maybe it's simply this location and the other locations are better. Whatever it is, I can say my experience here yesterday was wholeheartedly dissappointing - and the other three people in my family that tried it agree. I got the Dr Raj and the french toast was straight out of the freezer aisle of the supermarket. The bacon was flabby without having the excuse of being thick cut, and the cheese was American. At the end of the day it didn't taste too bad but for nearly $6, not worth it. One family member got the Windman, and found it similarly "just O.K."; another had the Italian combo and remarked that it was "dissappointing"; another had the Meat Lovers omelette, which was "nothing to write home about". Considering Bagel Man is just as close to us, but with better quality sandwiches and cheaper, Froggy's simply isn't worth the return visit. Seeing a shop open up in NF was exciting, but this...
