I come here for lunch often. I find the negative reviews hilarious. Poor customer service? Got my order wrong? Food didn't taste good? It's a Burger King in a rather mediocre neighborhood in New Haven. All of the employees are bilingual because easily half of the patrons either don't speak English or prefer not to. I never visit this location without having an opportunity to try out my Spanish. I'm sorry, but if you're expecting an exceptional customer service experience, you're not living in reality. This place meets expectations, period. You have to ask for condiments because they don't put them out because people abuse them. The ice is always out and the floor is sticky near the soda machine because patrons are too incompetent to operate it correctly. If you don't believe me, just read the reviews. The people that come here aren't exactly MENSA material. It's practically across the street from an equally-mediocre Walmart. So, of course they have trouble getting your "custom order" right because they're simply accustomed to making it a specific way and it was probably miscommunicated during the ordering process. Half of the time, the televisions are off. I've talked to employees about it, and they say its because management forgets to pay the cable bills. People: you should NOT EXPECT top-quality service here. It's burgers, fries, nuggets and soda. That's it. Don't customize your order and then complain that it takes them 20 minutes to fill it. Just take the damn onions off yourself. And don't berate the employees. They're just doing what they're trained to do. If you want a top quality experience, go somewhere that will charge you more than $5.21...
Read moreWorst service ever today. Went inside, asked for take out. When I went to go get the drinks they had no ice at all. Other customers telling workers “heads up” there’s no more ice in the machine ..they said they would take care of it but never did ... when i got my order it was set as eat in. I looked at the receipt and said to the girl I asked for takeout and it said it on the receipt too fyi. She says oh im sorry and then hands me 2 paper bags and tells me to bag it up myself because they were too busy. I just wanted to get the hell out of there so hurried up and bagged up my own food and left. Then here comes the worst part. I asked for two whoppers with cheese and I paid for them... but neither one of them had cheese. Burgers seems like it has been sitting it was not fresh at all the lettuce and tomatoes were soggy the bread was so thin and looked like it was soggy just as well, and I asked for a plain cheeseburger ..meaning no ketchup or mustard or any condiments. Of course it wasn’t a plain cheeseburger. It had everything on it. I looked back at the receipt to see if it was even the right order and the receipt says exactly what I wanted to begin with and they did the complete opposite. I’m guessing maybe the workers at Burger King doesn’t know how to read the orders? Or they just don’t care about their customers ? Horrible experience ever. I am never going back...
Read moreI just had the worse experience I've ever had at a fast food restaurant. So I submitted an online Order at 10:53 and paid. I go to the drive thru and I'm saying hello and no response, even though while I was putting my order through a car had just gone in front of me, so I wasn't suspicious much, felt off but I just decided I'll go to the window, two cars are in front me , after both cars I serve I pull up to the window, and I wait and wait and wait it is now 11:16, no one has come out to talk to me and I'm getting really upset and I can see them moving all about in there. I had to get out of my car and knock on the window, still I had to wait before someone finally came to the window, just to tell me that their closed. By this time I am highly upset because I cannot believe that these could not even acknowledge that I was outside of the window, no one to come say, hello ma'am were closed. That would have been decent customer service. Then I wouldn't have been so upset, when I proceed to ask what to do about my order, that I have already paid for. She shook her, she don't know but their closed, then left and never came back. Well that will also be my last time visiting that location or Burger King for a matter because I don't know why they hire such incompetent employees. By the way they're hours...
