This Popeyes is the worst EVER!!!! If you are looking for an ok chicken establishment this location is not it. I went inside because I was getting the chicken for my mother and others so I wanted to make sure my order was correct. I ordered the $20 holiday meal which comes with a variety of chicken pieces. Once my order was taken, I realized 2 other people were waiting for a while. The lady operating the drive thru kept talking $5 orders for the 4 pieces and it was quite steady. Finally the lady moved to making my box and when she was trying to make them, the drive thru lady kept taking all of the chicken wings. She exclaimed, "no," since granted I had been here a few minutes waiting on my box anyway, She told her I know you see her standing there those wings are for her. The other rude cashier kept taking the chicken anyway making other boxes. Leaving only 2 wings. I only wanted 4!!! I said hey it's okay Ill just wait how much for the next batch to cook since she took mine. She informed me ONLY 8 minutes. 8 minutes right..So there was another guy waiting before me. She called him and said oh this is yours. He said wow it's been sitting here this long. Moving along, I ask for some water because time is rolling by. I received a small cup for water. They finally put together the other ladies order and then she left with her food and the cashier says oh this is one of her sides? The other lady said oh well and no one tried to go out after her since they didn't fully complete her order to give her her food. 15 minutes later the cashier from the drive thru goes to make my box finally. She put a few pieces then stopped. Im just waiting still. She started making drive thru orders again!!!! I said nooo don't go taking my wings again. Mind you it's been over 25 minutes I have now been in here from the time of coming in. Another young man comes to the front. Ive been here so long a shift change has happened because the girl who originally took my orser was gone. I asked about my food and he said he would make it. A manager of some sort emerges to the front as well. I told the guy since I've been here so long I should receive a leg or something. I had been quite patient with them even after in was told 8 minutes and now had been there 30. He said okay sure since I have received far more for such inconvenience at other restaurants. The little manager that came up gave him a look. He made the food and I said instead of the leg make it a wing. He said well the supervisor is watching me so I can't. I said the supervisor in the back won't let me. . I said this is not a sneaky transaction this is out of inconvenience tell that supervisor to come here so I can express my issues. The supervisor/manager in the front already came over to me. I said for the inconvenience I should receive something. Your cashier kept taking the chicken that was for new and giving it to the drive thru customers. They told me 8 minutes and I was ok with it but its been Way longer than that. Well they gave you a drink. I said a DRINK? No this is just a cup of water. She said sarcastly that's what you get when there is a problem...I said you give your customers a small water? She said it's the cup..Very rudely. I said a cup for waiting on your mistakes? She went over to ask the drive thru cashier if I was waiting because of they didn't have chicken for me or if I volunteered to wait. I said I can hear you I didn't volunteer. She kept taking the chicken and since I was there for 4 wings I said I would wait. She came back rude again, I heard what you said I just have to check with my staff. She was so rude. I have never experienced such hostile and ride customer service. She gave me the smallest wings she could find and I should have just requested my money back but since I used my card, I didn't feel confident that this supervisor could be capable of a proper return since she was incapable of proper customer service. Read moreI haven't been to Popeyes in a long time. I wanted some chicken wings and so did my mom. I traveled from East Haven to New Haven to get Popeyes. When I pulled up to the monitor I was committed about 2 minutes later. Someone said will you be using the app today I said no. Then I said hello because it went silent. I placed my order and it was rushed as if I could only purchase one menu item. I remain calm and friendly. I pulled up to the window to pay and I was greeted by the manager I believe she told me the total. I handed her my card. She walked away she never said hi nor did she smile. She gave me my card and receipt then my food and something told me to check the bag. I had ordered two fries and only received one. I told her once I got her attention because she just kept walking past the window as if I wasn't there. She came back over and said my timer is running out and I said but I did not receive my fries she told me they were in the bag and they were not. She asked for the bag back I handed it to her and she took it over to the fries and put fries in the bag then gave it back to me. I thought you're supposed to create another bag and put what's missing in the new bag. Not take something through the window and add to it.
That point I didn't really care about her timer running out I knew it was but she kept walking past me as if I wasn't sitting there. Her demeanor is horrible for a manager and something needs to be done. I will not be returning there while she is working there.

Sure the $6 meal is back and it’s delicious, it is not worth it if they forget to pack the fries or a side dish. That’s what happened to me and since I was stopping by there daily or every other day I did not care.
The next time I went I asked for Jose who is the one who helped me most of the week. He wasn’t there. Jasmine was working and she knew I was a regular customer. She did not pack my order, so she asked the manager.
When the manager (short lady with black hair) came to me she questioned me as if I was trying to scam Popeyes. I told her Jose had missed putting my fries and told her I was a regular customer. She agreed to let me have the fries I was owed but it came with an attitude and trying to belittle me.
I encourage you to open your box and make sure to double check your order before you leave. No matter how nice Jose and Jasmin are they only hand you the meal.
I have had nothing but great experiences at the red and white chicken place for $1 less.
