The plates were huge! An order of "Ceviche Mixto" (seafood salad) with either tostones or yucca had great taste. The "Tallarin a la Ocaina with Beefsteak" (Pasta in a Peruvian sauce) was very flavorful. The steak was hard, so I would not recommend the steak. Our kids had the "Salchipapas" (sliced hotdogs with fries) and they loved it. We ordered this appetizer plate for them, because they do not have a kids menu. But his plate was huge! Starters was a complimentary plate of fried white corn with cucumber sauce. These were super sized white corn salted, and when combined with the dipping sauce, it became a delectable snack which surpasses peanuts. Next came the fried yellow plantains (Maduros), and the Arroz Chaufa (Chinese Peruvian fried rice). I can certainly validate to the Chinese portion of the description.
The plantains were fried well. Good texture.
The server was personable, friendly and efficient.
