It's really too bad that I have to write this review because their food is great. Unfortunately, great food doesn't make up for extremely poor management and poor training of their service staff. We regularly come here to order egg sandwiches and they're always good. It's usually a little disorganized when we come in, but it's never been as bad as it was today. The first mistake that began the downward spiral was the girl at the counter took our order and wrote it on the same ticket as the customer who ordered before us. When she finished I made sure to clarify that the order on the first half of the ticket was not for us and she said she knew they were separate and would not get confused. We wait about ten minutes and they come out the with the wrong order. We tell them it isn't ours, but the people who ordered before us. Except that they got both orders mixed up and made a combo of the two. So now, both orders for both customers are wrong. Meanwhile, the girl has yet to apologize or come back to double check with us to confirm what we ordered. We just assumed our orders were being remade. FORTY MINUTES later, after customers who arrived after us all received their food, we finally get our egg sandwiches to go. We arrive home only to find out that they were made wrong. We went back to ask for a refund and while we were refunded we didn't receive any type of apology, acknowledgement for their various mistakes or any type of offer to rectify the situation. The girl and a line cook (I assume) laughed when they saw me come back into the restaurant knowing there was something likely wrong with the order. And even after that no apology, just wanted to get rid of me as quickly as possible. What was supposed to be a quick and simple thing turned into a wasted hour of our day without getting any food. Extremely disappointing and frustrating. Please train your staff, please don't ever put two separate orders on the same ticket, and please take classes or something to help you learn how to better manage...

Read moreI just left Manjares in Westville and my entire experience was horrible. This was my first (and last) time there, and I wasn't sure if I was supposed to order at the counter or sit. I couldn't really distinguish who was working there, since the girl was sitting at the back counter with what seemed to be her friend. After awkwardly standing at the counter for a moment, the girl finally broke off her conversation with the other woman to acknowledge me. I asked a few questions about the food at the counter before ordering and the girl seemed annoyed with me right away. She served me my tea, and I took it back to my seat with me. I got up again to get honey or raw sugar for my tea. It was at a counter in the back where the girl who worked there was chatting with the other woman, who I thought was her friend, but after reading some of the other reviews, I figured she must be the owner. I was standing there trying to find honey when the woman asked if she could help me. Confused as to why the barista's friend would offer help, I asked for honey and the girl handed me Agave Nectar. Definitely not the same thing. My food came out quickly, and it was so gross. It was totally flavorless. I had their arepas, which were more like polenta, but really bland. Their bacon was undercooked and unreasonably greasy. The entire experience was really bad, from start to finish. I just wanted to leave. From the unfriendly, snobby service, the horribly bland food, to the terrible stomach ache I am now suffering, it was an overall bad experience and I wish I had gone to...
