I'm a New Haven native and over the years the park has changed for the better. The skate community continues to grow in influence of the youth. Everyone is willing to come together to support them local art scene, from music, visual arts like painting and photography, to fashion branding like Dead By 5AM.

Town needs to monitor this park regularly. Teens and young adults are often using this place as a hang out to drink and do drugs. Its supposed to be a place for kids to go. I was there at 6 PM once with my young kids ( 6 and 9 ) on roller skates and was told that we should leave by a rude bunch of teenage boys drinking beer. Very bad situation. Should not...

I love this park. It has basketball, tennis and a skate park for kids and adults alike. I wish the Pavilion was used more often for events. Even some vending machines on the inside would be great for the visitors. You get thirsty playing sports, skating and even just a normal stroll through the park. Great idea...
