UPDATE: ordered Uber eats from here and absolutely LIVID. Paid $30 plus tax, tip and Uber fees for Chicken Parmesan. It did not come with pasta as a side, which was annoying but I was aware. But it was advertised as chicken parmesan with sauce and cheese. I got a flat, breaded and fried chicken breast with no cheese, no sauce - nada. For $30+ !? Was definitely not my Uber driver, this was the restaurant's doing. Never again. When I pay premium price, I demand premium care and this is just completely careless and unbelievable. I'm astoundingly disappointed in what I thought was a new favorite restaurant. ------------------------------ Do not sleep on Pasta Eataliana. Absolutely blown away by the quality of the service and the food. Started with the Carne Alla Genovese, which was absolutely delightful and set a high expectation for the entree that we didn't know if they would reach. We had no idea how well it would clear the bar. I had the taglitelli Bolognese, and yes the flavor on it was downright phenomenal, but the thing I appreciated most that you do not experience in most Italian American restaurants was that the pasta was cooked perfect al dente. So many restaurants here overcook their pasta, but I was so incredibly happy this was cooked perfect. If you're unsure what this is all about, it's the pasta equivalent of a steak being cooked medium rare - exactly how it should be. The wife got Risotto pescatora, and she gave it a 10/10. Delicious, absolutely would recommend, it didn't skimp on the Calamari and the broth was fantastic. The portion sizes were hearty, dare I say, slightly generous like an Italian grandmother would make sure you had enough to leave satisfied. Lastly, I got a cocktail, boulevardier, and as a Bourbon/ whiskey guy, it was a friendly pour but went down so deliciously smooth. Service was friendly and attentive, but not overly bothersome. The seating was comfortable, lighting was great, and atmosphere was on point. I can't recommend this place enough and am so pleased to have such a great restaurant around to revisit for special occasions. There was just something about it that felt like the quality would always be there. My compliments to the chef /owner / staff. Just, wow. Bravo.

I must admit, Eataliana was not our first choice for dinner on this early Saturday night! My girlfriend and I were just passing through Connecticut and were planning to stop at Sally's or Frank + Pepe's pizza joints due to all the rave brought on by Dave Portnoy. However because waits for these places were EXTREMELY long, we decided to walk-in to Eataliana, and boy are we glad we did! We walked in at about 5:45 PM and the place was empty! That didn't last long though as locals poured in right at the stroke of 6 PM, and I understand why! Service was great, food was absolutely delicious and the atmosphere was really neat. No complaints at all. We ordered the pasta carbonara and a specialty pizza (I forget the name) with prosciutto on top! I was very much impressed by everything and would absolutely return when I am in the area.

This was our second time back to what was a great experience the first time. Well this time not so much! Get seated, we're asked our water options we say sparkling we get flat ( i could really care less at this point it's just water ) but who knew this would be the foreshadowing for the rest of our experience this evening. 15 -20 mins go by oh look a waitress works here who would have known, can I take your drink order? We ready to put in a whole order... Ok she responds along as its not alot ( ok well even if it was thats your Job as a restaurant staff be prepared to take an order large or small), we place or order should note at this point they sat the table next to us. Another 30 maybe 40 minutes at this point here come the apps ( one fresh so only assembly prep needed) ( one fried so minute at tops) almost a hour after apps are done and we've sat there not once vistited by our waitress ( who had to ve flagged down for more wine at some point in the middle) she pops up asks if we like to see a dessert menu ( 2 hours total now) No I'd like my dinner i ordered over 2 hours ago she replies sorry a big party came in ( well i know that they were seated after us as i watched them walk in) as a matter affect just give me my check, walks away ignores my request and argues with my wife while trying to pay said bill , it almost finished it she says, well it should have been finished being ate by now. Absolutely the worst service I ever had , Complete Amatuer Hour, understaffed, un trained crew ( watch the bus boys mess up food going to wrong tables over and over again). Oh, but wait there's more remember that table they seated next to us after we placed our order guess what they were paying theor bill as I argued about my food and...

I just got back from Rome 4 days ago, and was looking for a little reminder of the quality food I had back in Italy. The cuisine is not exactly same of course, but the care, flavor and service was on par 👍👍

I went around 3pm, and was the only person at the restaurant. I was met by a friendly waiter within a couple of minutes, and wqs able to order wine and then my other courses within 10 minutes.

The atmosphere is cozy but classy. Very clean, Italian music in the background. I also saw a bar in the back.

The food was served hot and portions were plentiful. I got halfway thru both dishes and had them boxed up. Pesto was light, flavorful and the gnocchi was plump and soft.

The stuffed pepper was sweet, and much more filling than anticipated. Abit heavier as well with the sauce, but overall something interesting to try.

Prices are definitely on the more expensive side, and I believe portions don't need to be this big, but those are subjectibe notes.

They executed what was on the menu very well.

While eating, I was attended to prompty, kindly, accurately and just the right amount.

There was also a young woman with two children that came in. I overheard her order one of the pasta dishes on the menu, but had the original sauce substituted for cacio E Pepe, and it was not an issue. I think that is a helpful detail for those that nay want a dish served a certain way.

Overall, 5 stars. If portions were 30% smaller, and the prices also reflected that,it would be a perfect spot for more frequent and casual dining. Overall with around 15% tip spent around $70.

All in all, would recommend for a treat family / quiet midday lunch or early dinner date. Thank you, and I look forward to...
