Zestos — Restaurant in New Haven

My family and I stopped there and we had an issue with a peanut butter milkshake. It had so much peanut butter that it was too thick and not good to eat. We took it back to the window and explained it was not edible. Then asked for an exchange for something else and was told they would not do that per the manager. They then shut the window. We went back to the window and then they would not return or talk to us. There were no cars in the drive thru. Sad that they would not correct the mistake they made. This is poor customer service. To the owners/managers who run this location: teach your children some manners. Three of them, one named Peter, feel they have free reign of the place bc their cousins work there. It was annoying to hear them yelling their order to Peter repeatedly. My husband and I were just trying to enjoy our ice cream. Just wasn't impressed by this place. service wasn't friendly, ice cream wasn't anything even close to amazing. McDonald's has better I was very disappointed with it. plus no bathrooms to clean up in (ice cream melted unbelievably fast on a chilly windy overcast day, you would have thought it was 100°+ the way it was melting) had to change kids and grandma's clothes when we got back to her condo it...
