Comise's Bar and Grill — Restaurant in New Lenox

The place we wanted to go was too crowded so we decided to go somewhere new nearby. We are new in the area so we decided to try a place that was close to our house. Not advertised online nor on the outside of the building that the kitchen is closed on Mondays; would have saved us $20 on drinks if we knew. Monday evening and there was about 4 people in there (including us). The owner or manager, I’m guessing, was there drinking at the bar. The bartender had her boyfriend there (only guessing since they exchanged a few kisses). Him and another guy (wearing shorts and sandals) were hanging up neon signs on the walls. Seemed very unprofessional. We only stopped in because most places were closed on Mondays; honestly they had to be losing more money to be open on Mondays than it’s worth. Not saying we won’t give this bar another chance, but it’s not one that we are eager to come...

I can't say enough positive things about the service at Comise’s! The energy is contagious and always puts me in a good mood. I want to thank Morgan for always going above and beyond to ensure that our lunch/dinner experiences are always exceptional. She’s always so sincere & welcoming and excellent service makes all the difference!! We always start off with the lots-of-platter & Buffalo chicken wontons! Wow! ! A must!! I debated on trying this place out based on reviews. Decided tonight after the car show it was worth the try. I'm so happy we did. The food is sooo good!! Everything our table ordered was beyond what we were expecting. I highly recommend this place if you are in the area. They have gaming, slots, pool tables, darts, tvs and more. It's not just an average bar with just slots.. you have room to move around.

Service was so smooth and welcoming. Bar tender was on point. The place is very clean!! Can't wait to see what the future...
