Kist Kandies & Ice Cream — Restaurant in New London

Kist Kandies & Ice Cream is a pretty neat place. They have some antiques to look at and it's history is also interesting. The big thing is thier home made fudge and chocolates. Don't be alarmed when you walk in and see the chocolate display. It looks like they have a wide selection but not many of each kind (and honestly, they didn't look very fresh). That is NOT the case. They only have those few there as display items. They actually keep all the amazing and fresh chocolates in sealed containers behind the counter. We purchased a nice assortment, and they where all wonderful. We also bought fudge which was great as well. We did not get any ice cream but it looked like they had a nice selection of Cedar Crest ice cream to choose from, as well as shakes. It was well worth the scenic trip...

We really enjoy stopping here. It's so cute inside and there's nothing like it in our area. Owner is always so friendly and helpful. I swear we spend twice as much money when he is there then we normally would. The fudge! Those damn peanut butter squares! Oh and the toffee! They carry Cedar Crest ice cream which is one of the best ice creams there is. And that's what we went there for was ice cream they had a bunch of different varieties of waffle cones to chews from some with m&m some with butter fingers some plane . The lady that worked there was really super nice and friendly. And the antique feel and look is really cool. It is a very neat place.
