Hong Kong Buffet — Restaurant in New London

My wife and I wanted to try out a new place a little closer to home than Appleton. We decided to come here on a Saturday. We arrived shortly after they opened. The hostess greeted us and allowed us to pick a seat we could easily have our carseat at.

The food has an acceptable variety to it. They even have Sesame Chicken on the buffet which I haven't seen at any of the Asian buffets in the area. I won't say the food is the best I have ever had, but compared to a lot of other places, the taste is quite good. The crab rangoons are stuffed full! They also offer a mildly sweet and very delicious rice pudding on their salad table.

I took a trip to the restroom just to give a complete review. It isn't anything remarkable but it's clean and there is no foul odor.

Overall, the service was good. The hostess also cleaned tables, refilled beverages, cashiered, and generally maintained the whole front of the restaurant on her own.

Our price was an incredible $6.90 per person. You can't beat that price for a weekend lunch buffet anywhere and since the food was enjoyable and affordable we will...

My wife asked the owner why they didn't have lobster rolls, like they always have and he just stood there in confusion and couldn't answer the question.

The large fish tank is FILTHY, very uninteresting and a complete eye-sore in every way.

The cook looks very unhappy and is probably underpaid like most Chinese business employees.

The place needs severe renovations, needs a lot better service, a babysitter for their children and different food selections. Needless to say, we will NEVER return for another plate of food until we hear that they have made...

I've lived in 10 states and 3 countries. This is easily the worst chineese food, and probably the worst food I've ever eaten. The beef was rubbery and fatty to the point that I couldn't chew it. The chicken teriyaki was the driest chicken I've ever eaten in my life. All the other chicken was riddled with fat and tendons. I had to keep getting up to get more napkins to spit my food in. Everything else was sub par, except for the green beans. Whoever cooked those did a damn good job. I paid $92 for the 6 of us.
