Captain's Quarters Lounge — Restaurant in New Martinsville

Loved this trip! It was worth the 10 hour drive from Ohio. This was an amazing experience for my first beach trip! I’m probably going to come back next year! View was amazing to the ocean, room was kept up clean and great, tons of room in the main area and the bathroom was small, but working great! No complaints, and I went to all pools and was amazing. Staff was helpful and funny. I was the child of my group (2 grown ups, me as the child). We left our room keys in the room so we went down to the lobby and got a new key! Great people here but one thing, Please have the DJ down on the pool deck not turn on the music at 6 in the morning, it was very loud. Some of the music cussed (which this is more of a child atmosphere). Just be a little more careful please! We were on 8th floor and loved it! Right under the kitchen! Nice and quiet! Horrible experience. I eat here on the norm once every two weeks. Twelve elderly women came in and the waitress ask if they had reservations they said no, waitress replied "well normally a party this large would call for reservations". Waitress instantly copped an attitude with the ladies. While preparing seating for the ladies she brought up " if you had reservations like most people do we could of had seating ready". The first lady obviously being offended quit talking with waitress. When same waitress to drink order she sarcastic brought up reservations again. In the 10 minutes I was there " reservations were very sarcastically brought up at least 5 times to the elderly group. Such a cold hearted and hateful waitress to scold these elderly ladies. Service was fast and friendly. I ordered the Queen Prime Rib, medium rare with loaded baked potatoe, broccoli, house salad and bread stick. The salad was basic iceburg lettuce, tomatoes, green pepper and onion very fresh. Blue cheese was not watered down and had big chunks of delicious blue cheese. Baked potato was large but the amount of cheese and bacon bits wasn't enough for the potato. The butter was margine and the sour cream was frozen. The prime rib was a good cut of meat but well done. I ordered medium rare. The au jus sauce was too salty and I LOVE salt. The table was wobbly which makes cutting a well done steak annoying and caused my tea to splash out.
