I want to like the place, I really do. Honestly though, I've just had too many bad experiences to let slide at this point.
For example: I went there yesterday for happy hour. Place was only about half full. Ordered a Modelo and a "cowboy burger". When my food finally came out, it was burnt to a crisp and rock-hard, with a bun that was ice cold. So they offered to remake it. Waited 30 minutes for the replacement, and what I got was rubbery, undercooked bacon, on a plain patty that didn't even have any sauce on it.
So they said to go to the counter and ask for a refund. While I'm paying for my beer, I had to stop the lady and ask if it was really $7 for a single Modelo? Turns out they had put a vodka I never ordered on my tab as well.
Hard fail on every point. Not the first time stuff like this has happened to me there either. Do not recommend unless you're just there...
Read moreWent here for a retirement party. Everything was great, the service, food, band(s), and drinks. Yet, when I had left my table to dance and watch the band (mind you there was a purse on the table, and obvious signs somebody was still sitting there), the photographer touched my food to set it up for a photo. I was beyond disgusted, and had to throw my dessert that I was planning on taking. When confronted all she said was she was just taking a photo, and continued to organize my food with her bare hands. I'm not a huge germaphobe, but you shouldn't be handling people's food without their consent and bare handed at most. Especially while shoving your camera lense and phone in my food. Plus some of those cookies had obvious bite marks in them, and the cake pops as well. It's overall a gross thing to do. She continued to take pictures around the...
Read moreOne of my favorite places to go in Taos! Triple threat combo of 2 solar powered radio stations, a sports bar & an indoor/outdoor music venue. Happy hour from 4-6 every day & the drinks/food are very reasonably priced! Personal favorites include the Baja fish tacos & pepper infused vodka. Great views of the Taos mountains (especially during the sunsets) & excellent live shows. Music ranges from local favorites such as Katy P. & Dawes to cover bands playing the likes of The Grateful Dead, Fleetwood Mac, etc. to widely known artists such as the reggae band Third World. Cannot wait till...
