We ordered the Huevos Rancheros (my Husband) and I had the Chilaquiles...we got them to go...they are served with fried eggs (yay!) Rather than scrambled which is super refreshing! I do think that if you asked for scrambled they would do it. Their fried potatoes are chunky and super fluffy...there is quite enough of both red and green Chile to dunk potatoes as well as bathe the eggs and tortillas ( home fried flour chips for the Chilaquiles and corn tortillas for the base of the Huevos Rancheros) they also come with a side of excellent refried beans...the portions are huge and their prices are within anyone's reach...Home style NM food! The menudo i was served taste worse then from a can and i had to ask for hominy. It is Definitely not served the traditional way. It was served with onions and lemons, traditionally it is served with cilantro onions and limes corn tortillas ot bolillo. I shouldnt have to ask for "pozole" in menudo..pozole is a whole seperate dish. The sopapillas was more like fry bread. It had a horrible baking powder aftertaste. The honey didnt mask the awful taste. There was no horchata on the menh no aguas fresca..i dont know how they even try to say they are mexican..as a mexican i...
