Service was slow and the staff didn't seem as if they wanted to be there or serve. The only person who showed some interaction and friendliness to us was the young lady with the dreadlocks (The cook). I stood at the bar for almost 10 mins without anyone asking if they could help me (acting like they were so busy filling 2 machines & the other one took forever filling 1 gallon for the customer before me) & I had $$ and the menu in my hand. I had to ask where do I give my order & I was pointed to the other side of the bar near the front door. I'm not sure why I was passed off considering my friend had just placed his order right before me & we were standing there together. Not sure if I'll ever be back. I think the short chick who finally decided to wait on me was stealing and over charging the customers to make up for the loss in the register. I saw a man write a tip on a credit card receipt and then she slipped a $5 bill out of the drawer and put it under the counter. Now she's gonna get paid again for that tip when she gets her paycheck. She then tried to charge my friend for an extra shot that he didn't order. He caught it, but unfortunately I didn't. I was charged $19+ for an $8 sandwich and $3 fries, so she charged me $8-9 for a medium daquiri. Hmmmmm. I hope she doesn't ccause the place to loose patrons. After that stunt she pulled, my friends didn't order any more. Oh, and if you're gonna stay open until... You should have food available for sale past 10PM. You lost at least $45 from our table by they denying us food because it was after 10PM. It's Friday night, geeze. A lot of stuff needs to be fixed...
Read moreI don’t normally leave reviews, but my experience at Daiquiris and Company was so disappointing, I felt it needed to be said. From the moment I walked in, the staff seemed disinterested and borderline rude. It felt like I was an inconvenience rather than a paying customer. No greetings, no smiles, just attitude. I waited far too long to be served, and when I finally was served, the daiquiri I ordered tasted watered down and bland, definitely not worth the price. It’s supposed to be a specialty drink spot, but it felt more like a gas station slushie. The atmosphere wasn’t welcoming either;the place lacked cleanliness. The floors were sticky, the counters were messy, and the restroom area had feces smeared on the walls, like it hadn’t been properly cleaned in quite some time. What sealed the deal for me was the customer service. I asked a simple question about the menu and got an eye-roll and a sarcastic response in return, completely unprofessional. I definitely won’t be returning, and I recommend anyone looking for good customer service and quality daiquiris to go elsewhere. There are much better places to spend your...
Read moreI have not patronized this daiquiri shop in a while. A few weeks ago I went and the server wasn't the most pleasant as far as professionalism. She seemed disgusted I asked a question Today I went and nothing has changed. I'm not sure who the bartender is but she seemed annoyed both times I patronized this establishment. To add insult to the experience. I do not want to go more into detail but, if I wouldn't have said something as I was waiting I would have been ignored. The greeted a group as if I wasn't waiting to be served. To think I was rummaging through my wallet feeling guilty thinking I wouldn't be able to tip. I left my $5.00 in my wallet. I refuse to patronize places that treat customers as if they are not their bread and butter. I guess I'll be going to my usual spots in Metairie and St Bernard parish. Their bartenders are pleasant and approachable. Oh, I forgot to mention the...
