Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in New Orleans

Derrien who served us was the best thing about this location. Do not go to this location. EVER!!!! Lots of trash near the stairs in the parking lot. Tables and floors had not been cleaned in God knows how long. Soda machine counter was stained and needed to be cleaned. Men’s bathroom was eewwww!! I just hope I did not catch anything!!

The people behind the counter were rude and nasty. One customer from the drive-thru came in and said he was given the wrong order. He asked for spicy and was given mild chicken. Derrien took our order and then we just listened to the staff moan and complain aloud about the drive-thru customer. Another employee was telling Derrien that he was taking too long to get orders out and he needed to step up. Meanwhile the drive-thru customer came back. This time it was to complain that his chicken was cold.

We finally got our order and asked for napkins and forks. Derrien was able to get those items for us quickly. Unfortunately, there were none of these items at the counter. We ate and listened as the staff continued to argue back and forth about who should be doing this or that.

A few minutes later, a manager, or the person who was sitting in back, yelled out to an employee, "we don't have no eight piece." So as long as I can remember I have purchased eight-piece combo meals from other Popeyes locations. I do not know what makes this location different. Furthermore, if you sell two four-piece dinners to the same customer that would certainly make an eight-piece combo. Do yourself a favor, do not waste your time or...

So I went to Popeyes last night and the food was nice and hot but the cashier was acting very strange with my debit card. She walked off to the side with my card and took forever giving my debit card back to me. So in the process of all that I’m telling my girl if she’s trying to steal my money I’m the wrong person to do it too because I check my accounts daily and I’m gonna make it my business to see what she charged me for. The next day I check my account and just as I suspected the cashier doubled charged me. So I ask to speak with the manager and the female that answered says what can I help you with so I explain to her what happened and she’s very nonchalant about the whole situation and tells me to bring my bank statement in and the manager will refund my money. So my response was so if I asked to speak to a manager why didn’t you let me speak to one. I’m going to Corp I’m verY angry because it’s really sad that you can’t even give people your card without them trying to steal from you. Popeyes y’all gotta do better your hiring people with...

NEVER open on time. Worst popeyes in Louisiana. Go to the one on Paris ave a few minutes away and avoid this location (Elysian fields) at all costs. Cant get your order right ever.. Rude service that gets even more rude when you try and get your order fixed. Consistent cold, mediocre strips. I live around the corner and love popeyes usually but i can't deal with this locations overall terrible experiences anymore. I Will be taking my business elsewhere and I encourage you to do the same.

Made the mistake of trying to give this place another shot. Opened late again. Waited 30 minutes, just to be told the system is down and they can't do anything for me. The management is responsible. Don't care bout the people who come with money to spend. Don't care about their business, won't fix any problems. I Won't EVER be back. Honestly I have zero clue how this place is still in business.
