When I had planned to visit this establishment, I called numerous times over the phone and sent them a message over instagram,Ā but didn't get an answer or reply. When they finally did answer,Ā they said that they weren't taking orders over the phone. So we made our way over there and I ordered whatever looked best on Instagram, which for me was the grilled salmon and seafood potatoes with seafood pasta. When I say this, I mean it as a person fron new orleans, and not Texas, where we drove in from: LAWD!
We loved it!Ā It had that it great Cajun flavor, and the potatoes were perfectly cooked, as was the seafood pasta. It's rare that I even come in to order food because I like to order on the phone and just come to pick up so that I don't have to wait, but this was definitely worth the wait! It only took about 15 minutes to make and it was as I had imagined it to be. I would definitely drive-in from Houston again just to get more of this food. My only regret was not having more time to order more to have it to go with me. Definitely do not order a small order of the pasta, make sure to get a large order, because it is quite good. Even my daughter liked the pasta, and my husband, who is quite picky, and only likes salmon if I make it, liked the salmon as well. And I'm happy to support a black...

Whatever you order here is takeout, as they do not offer in store seating. The storefront has a lot of baked goods like donuts and pastries. The main menu is seafood and lamb, food is cooked to order, so be prepared to wait about 10 mins for your order. Ordered the grilled catfish entree which comes 2 shrimp (you read that right) with 2 sides and a salad for $21. The piece of catfish they give you is a decent size, as well as the sides. I just wish they hadnāt forgotten to include my salad! I decided to visit this place for the yams everyone raves about and was seriously let down. They were terribly undercooked and hard (almost raw like), served in a brown liquid, and probably the worst tasting yams Iāve ever come across in my Southern Belle lifetime. The Mac and cheese and catfish were both just ok. I mean, you canāt go wrong with grilled shrimp. The whole menu is sort of overpriced and the value is sadly not worth the money for the food. I should add, the workers are very friendly and nice. Maybe they charge extra for their friendly hospitality(itās a skill, ya know), because the food is...

After arriving there were 2 people sitting already waiting for food who looked already unhappy which later I realise it's because they had waited over an hour for food.
After waiting some time we were asked if we've ordered our food we hadn't so we ordered 2 surf and turf wraps 28 bucks each. We weren't told how long it would be and didn't get given an order number or receipt but we waited. After and hour and asking twice how long it'll be a lady came out who seemed to be switched on so we asked her and she said she would check immediately and we heard her ask the chef for 2 surf n turf even though we were told twice it's just coming off of the grill. After an hour and a half of waiting someone comes out and says they're out if fries we just say the wraps alone are fine now, we take our food finally. The food itself had really good flavour to it but the steak was so overcooked we could hardly eat it so didn't after a few bites.
About 30 minutes later my stomach was off and I was horrendously sick.
The atmosphere was awful the people working were young and clearly not experienced in working in any form of customer service.
I wouldn't visit this...
