My husband couldn't order food online (error message) or over the phone to the food establishment also located inside the bar. When we just now tried to call the bar tender, a "Holly Hollis," she said it wasn't worth her time to assist us by walking to the kitchen to help us place our order with them. I am seven months pregnant; I can't go to a bar, but we live a block away and this would have been easy food to get to. When we tried to explain, she hung up on us twice. A bartender's tips are more important than providing even the barest of customer service here. So, minutes later, my husband shows up at the bar/kitchen to place the order in person. The same bartender apologized to him, stated that I was "cussing her out" which is a lie; my husband heard me speak to her over the phone. Then she stated "I love pregnant women! I'm a feminist!" At least she got a good story to tell her manager in case this ever comes back on her. I just wish calls were recorded at all businesses,...
Read moreWe had only 3 or 4 hours in New Orleans for other reasons so we had to be quick. Grab some local food go to big easy for stuffs try the RTV I sad it's no way it's impossible into 3 hours to do all that things. Actually we wanted to go to the Creole bar to have some local Cajun food but it was overcrowded and noisy (it was really wired)and they told us we have to wait an hour and a half for a table so decided to go the opposite corner Irish pub instead. Right there at the doorstep super friendly local guys started to chatting to us and it was the same inside. Staff and guests were super kind and friendly. We told them we are from Europe and this is the first time we're on American soil. We had a couple of Maker's Mark and played darts and talked about soccer with a local guy. It was super fantastic I wish to be back there . I loved the city although I couldn't have enough time to see all what I was planning to. I love New Orleans and be back for...
Read moreCool looking place, love the church inspired bathrooms, (which are clean btw) the bartenders were very nice and attentive and they had anime (chainsaw man) playing on the TV with subtitles (which is nice because some places will have shows playing silently with NO subtitles, like unless it's wrestling what's the point?) But they also have loud rock playing, which I liked a lot, but for some people may be over stimulating, so your mileage may vary. I just wished that the kitchen was open a little longer so I could've tried the food. And the hours for the kitchen aren't marked clearly/separately, at least online. I didn't get to try the food so I can't speak on it, but the menu sounded delicious. oh! There's also pool and plenty of places to sit! Loved that part. Cause...
