Penso's Pizza — Restaurant in New Philadelphia

Ordered a 3 topping pizza, potato wedges and cheese bread. The wedges and bread were good. The pizza was horrible. It was a soupy lava mess! Lift up a slice and everything just slides off. The bottom is soggy and just nasty! Called and complained and they asked if I wanted another? No thanks! Had to put it in my oven and cook it for another 10 minutes just for it to be edible. Oh and ordered "extra cheese" because they don't put any on if you don't ask for it and there was hardly any at all. Terrible experience,won't ever give them another dollar ! Should've ordered dominos lol

We have been eating Penso's Pizza at least once a week for the past 45 years. Great crust, delicious sauce, lots of toppings to choose from. Their chef salads and spaghetti are wonderful. We call so often they don't even ask for our name anymore. They are on the second generation of pizza makers and the third generation is in the wings. The three brothers each have their own shop in different cities and each one has a little different taste from the others but all are delicious. My children, grandchildren, and now my great grandson have all cut teeth on Penso's Pizza crust. The family is so friendly and warm, it feels like home....

Pizza by Penso is a good place to have dinner, sometimes it gets really busy, coming from me, I work there, I am glad to be part of this 81st year of business ànd that has a lot to say for itself, I also know that there is not that many pasta houses around in the United States any more that are still in business for that long, there are many people from all over that come to Tuscarawas County for food here to visit or on business trips and is very well...
