Was refused service at Osaka Japan tonight due to different skin tone than those in line in front of me.
I am from South Carolina and decided to come to this mall to try out an exercise class. Afterwards, my daughter and I looked around the mall and decided to grab some dinner before the mall closed at 7. We were in line behind a Caucasian couple at Osaka Japan at around 6:53. I stood there waiting about 1 minute until the couple informed me they had ordered, the cook just began preparing the food in front of us. When I got ready to order the cook gruffly said to my daughter and I (who are Afro-American), “WE ARE CLOSED!” The couple looked at me, puzzled, then, we all looked back at him. I asked him if I could please order, to which he kept saying: “WE ARE CLOSED!!!” I walked over to Marshalls, noticing the doors were still open (to all the stores) and asked the time; after all that, it was 6:57. I went back to Osaka to ask what time they normally closed, they said “7:00”, I told them it was STILL not 7:00, to which he replied, “6:55”.
I guess at this place they close early if you fit certain profile... Literally left with a headache and feeling sick that people like that are allowed to do what they want to...
Read moreI love the New Town Mall. Especially my favorite store is in there. It's Elder-Beermans. There regular proceed are high but they always have GREAT sales. They also have GREAT yellow and black for sales where you take extra off the lowest price on the ticket. Then get there credit card then you earn points to get other coupons off. I was there the day. They opened 30 years ago and I haven't stopped shopping there. I like everthing they have. The products and clothing are made very well. One example a couple years ago the maxi dresses were really popular I loved them they hadd them for $68.00 which was so high for me to pay. I continued watching and then they marked them down and then went clearance then went yellow dot then went black dot. There was a lot of them so i kept waiting. I only live one minute frrom the mall. I finally got all 7 of them for $6.99 each. Now that's a steal. So be patient and get...
Read moreSylvia'a Emporium sold me a katana and i have bought quality ones elsewhere before but the quality of the katana i bought at Sylvia'a Emporium is below sub par and when i called to see if i could return it they gave me the run around telling me that they would Talk to there manager and they would call me back never did . Now when i bought the Katana i repeatedly asked if it was of good quality and not just a display piece and i was assured that it was of good quality and that the blade was real . But upon using the katana the handle shifted and the blade bent like you was using a pool noodle and upon further inspection because of my experience with other katanas i disassembled it to find out that it was a display piece and that the construction of the katana was of Very poor material to the point you can fold the blade also the blade...
