Sugar Rose Bakeshop — Restaurant in New Prague

Should probably have taken some photos before everything had been eaten but woe is life.

Very cute little bake shop and to my surprise coffee shop as well. I can’t say much about the drinks but while I was there they definitely had a group of regulars come in. The person behind the counter seemed to know them and remember their order which is always something you like to see

They are a smaller bake shop they specialize in some breakfast goodies but mostly they have want you want for your sweet tooth. Lots of cupcake options tarts and bars.

They do not sell bread they are not that kind of bakery. But the nice extra if you don’t want to get out of your vehicle on a hot day they do have a drive thru window.

I did no favors to my high blood sugar this day and I have to say it was worth it.

Jody provided all of the desserts for both my bridal shower and wedding! Not only are her desserts AMAZING, but she is also incredibly accommodating and wonderful to work with. Before the wedding, she provided us with a sample box to help us choose what we wanted, and once we decided to use her as our vendor, she consulted with us to ensure we had the right amount for our wedding. She was very prompt in responding to communications and effortlessly accepted small, last-minute changes. Jody delivered the desserts to our wedding venue, set them up, and the display was SO BEAUTIFUL and well thought out.

Our guests couldn’t stop raving about how fantastic the dessert selection was! Everything was wonderful, but the resounding favorite was the classic lemon bar. Even days later, I still have guests reaching out for her contact information so they can use her for their future events.

My family and I have been getting our scones from Sugar Rose for a couple years. My opinion…this is the best bakery within an hour. I get their scones several times a month. The lady’s that work here are always so nice and the place is kept clean. This bakery also does dessert treats and drinks, coffee and teas. I like their chai tea. The prices are very reasonable for the quality you get! I would pay more for this good of bakery items.

They usually have 2-3 different flavors of scones every day, they are really good about posting what they have for that day on there Facebook page!
